Wonderful product
What a difference this humidifier makes - skin and especially eyes are less dry, it feels less cold when I use it all day every day and it is easy to use and looks good too. I bought this one because the same model has been wonderful in another room for the last 3 years. Oh yes, it’s easy to keep clean.

It won't last
After 2 winters the seal gaskets popped off. I spent 45+ minutes trying to get it back on. IT KEPT POPPING OFF. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!! You're wasting your $$.

Nice evap humidifier
Bought this 2 weeks ago to replace the same style and model number of the one I had for 5 years. The old one was wonderful. But this new one has a harmonic vibration when on high so I have to sleep when it's on low now. Kind of a bummer because when it's on high it would drown out all the outside noises eg loud cars, dogs barking, parties next door.

Easy-to-fill tank
I just added this evaporative humidifier to my collection of Vornado products. It works really well in concert with the Vornado ultrasonic humidifier in my home. Unlike the ultrasonic, this is very easy to fill, but both work better than any other humidifier I've owned. Vornado quality is obvious to the eye.

Very Loud
Nice looking, nicely designed, SUPER loud! I have no idea how the engineers thought this would work well in a bed room, unless you need the background noise of a jet engine to sleep. The unit would be pretty nice if it had a much quiet fan. Returning this for something quieter.

Great Humidifier
This is easy to use and clean. I have other brands without filters and I always clean them once a week and this is the easiest to clean all I have had to do is wipe it down. It keeps the humidity in the room and I only have to fill it once a day so far, our last one I had to fill it twice a day sometimes more depending on the humidity.

Disappointing
My Vornado is barely 2 years old and it’s already rattling when I turn it on. This is a new issue and there’s nothing I can do except turn it on the highest setting to drown out the rattling noise but then that just becomes too loud!

Works great
We bought this about a month ago. Even though we have a humidifier on our furnace, our bedroom is the farthest from the furnace and we don’t get much flow. The humidifier has made all the difference in the comfort of our bedroom.

Inefficient
After 2 months of near daily use, I am still dissatisfied with this humidifier. It looks nice, but it is loud (because of the fan) and doesn’t humidify the room nearly as quickly as our old, basic humidifier. The same amount of water in our old humidifier would be gone in half the time, and this one leaves the air still feeling dry despite running constantly. Additionally, it requires more maintenance as the wick gets mildewed and needs replaced. I wouldn’t purchase this again and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Quiet and easy to use
We are very happy with this humidifier. It is quiet and works well. We keep it on high when we use it (at night) otherwise it stops after a while. But it does seem to do what we needed it to, which is make my partner's air passages less dried out.

Simple to use
I am so happy to be back using evaporative humidifiers after years of trying ultrasonic ones that die in 5 years. I am hopeful with this simple design and easy to use buttons that this Vornado will last more than a decade.

Not a good product
Bought 3 weeks ago, water leaks out all over the place. It’s fine for a day or so, then leaks. I have to keep in a deep pan at all times. Definitely wish I would have selected a different brand.

It’s not even designed to work
As an engineer myself, I was shocked to see how little engineering or testing had to go into this model. It’s not even designed for good air flow. The external housing impedes most the aIr that should have an uninhibited path to make maximum contact with tbe wick. Very disappointing, especially as the Evap40 is so well designed and fantastically functional.

Not Impressed
Bought it a month ago, after having suspicion if it really did control humidity I went out and bought a humidity sensor, go figure, this product doesn't do anything. The reader on my humidity sensor stays the same or goes a bit below to dry air. Now I have to return the product for a refund and go through all the hassle.

Great Product
I bought this about a month ago and I am glad I did. It works like a charm and the humidity in the house is constant. It is easy to refill and a full reservoir lasts over 24 hours. The buttons are really easy to read and set. I would recommend this product for sure.

Exasperated with this product
I have had to return two of these as neither one of then worked correctly. The last one I received never shuts off. It is my understanding that once humidity level is reached the fan would shut down, consequently I have to add water daily. I would not recommend this product. Customer service has been great tho, but product is ineffective

Nice and quiet
love this unit. It is great for bedroom Fairly quiet and adjustable. Really easy to clean but the replacement filters are giving off such a bad order that I had to move it out of my bedroom. I searched for USA made product and found Vornado so I was excited but it seems the filters are made somewhere else which is disappointing. I ran it for a day or so and that seems to have helped

Great Humidifier
Bought this 1 month ago for our bedroom and it's doing a great job. Very smooth and quiet. Love being able to set different humidity settings. Easy to fill with water and small footprint.
