Origins Youthtopia Refining Apple Face Peel - 3.4 oz - Ulta Beauty: Exfoliating, Paraben-Free, Vegan, Sensitive Skin

This is the best smelling product I've ever put on my face. I use this before I want to wear makeup for special occasions. Just spread it onto my hands and fingers, rub it into my skin where I need the most help (usually my t zone) and it clears up my sebaceous filaments instantly for smoother makeup application. I haven't tried to use it regularly, and I don't know the percentage of the actives so I'm cautious to. Other than that, I love this product so much. Please don't change the scent. It's mouth watering.

I am so impressed with this product. I haven't found a good serum for my skin, and moisturizers are too oily and heavy for my skin type (I have combo skin while also being slightly sensitive), and this is a perfect "in between" for those. I stumbled upon this in Ulta after looking through multiple other brands and products, did some quick research, and took a chance on it- and I'm so glad I did! I'm 32 years old and I don't wear a lot of foundation on my skin, so I really try to even my skin tone however I can with products, and this is AMAZING. It smells so good (I saw some reviews about it smelling bad? Idk what that was about, it smells great- like a small apple smell), it's gentle on my skin while also feeling like it's helping it as a peel, and my skin is so soft and smooth. I am so impressed, and will be using this forever going forward. I can't recommend it enough!

Wonderful product

I saw lots of reviews about the smell of this product, and I can only assume those customers received a bad batch. There is a mild smell but not at all intolerable as described. I used this product last night and it works well and smells good to me. The only time I was able to smell it on my face was when I curled my top to touch my nose. I like both products, as I do just about all other Origins products. Thanks for all you do!

I ordered it to try and honestly felt it didn't do anything. I felt nothing, saw nothing and overall was very unimpressed. I hope I can return it for a refund.

Can I use my vitamin C serum with this? I've used this peel a few times a week for a couple of weeks and so far I really like it. My skin feels smoother and my redness seems to be fading a little.

I've used origins years ago and really like their skincare but the apple peel toner was not something I would ever buy again. Surely this sis not for everyone and it definitely was not for me….. claims it give a nice bounce and glow to skin and it did not do that to mine, it actually did the opposite!!!!! Was highly disappointed because I truly wanted to love this product! The smell was also very, very overwhelming it gave me a severe headache and that because I've had scented things before but this smell was way too powerful made my stomach turn!!! 🤢 would not purchase this again and would not recommend to anyone who is sensitive to smell. N9 origins! Very bad!!!

I have missed Modern Friction terribly and my skin felt dull and flaky so I though I'd give this a go and so far it has had great results. I use it in the evenings before Nightamins and I have noticed that my skin is smoother and my wrinkles are less obvious. My skin does actually feel plumper too, though that may just be because my moisturiser is sinking in better after using this. I have very sensitive skin and it reacts to everything but so far I've been able to use this every night without issue. I will definitely be repurchasing it.

This refining peel works just as described: it decreases dullness and refines pores. I use it morning and night after cleaning but before serum. I also use the Youthtopia moisturizer and have to say that I love these products!!!!

This had my cheeks so dry and peeling...I have never experienced anything like this. I would not recommend this

Unlike the awful smelling plumping cream, this product smells good. It reduces the fine lines and my skin feels hydrated in the morning. Using it nightly with no skin irritation issues at all.

I am 54 and enjoy hiking and a natural look for beauty and skincare. I've been applying this product in the evening after cleansing with "Checks and Balances" wash. After that I have been going back and forth between a light retinol cream or a basic simple cream moisturizer, or sometimes the Origins ginger line of creams. Anyway it seems to me that this Youthtopia actually makes a big difference for how my skin looks the next morning. Regardless of which cream I use, the main difference seems to be this. What I see is healthier skin because it looks less tired and more hydrated. Hard to say "plump" but to me that means my deeper 50 year old wrinkles are less visible and my overall look is refreshed. When I apply this, I feel nothing and there is no immediate change. But the next morning, day after day, I can see a benefit. I know they are not the same thing but if I had to choose between my retinol cream and Youthtopia, I would keep my Youthtopia. Now that some time has gone by, I am interested in trying the other products similar to this one.

It is seldom that I take the time to write a review. But I have to say the youth Topia apple peel and the apple cream are probably the best products I have purchased in a long time. I've purchased a lot of origins products but this one. I'm not kidding, gave me noticeably difference in the texture and the clarity and evened out of my complexion. So pleased. I purchased the product when they were running a special on it because it was new. Glad I did.

Unsure of how I like the product just yet but it does have an odd, strong smell. I wish they would change the bottle, you end up spilling product. It needs a dispenser cap.

I would not recommend this product - this is not as bad as the cream (which smells awful) but not what you would expect from Origins. I got sick from the smell everytime I attempted to use it.

Very dissappointed. It's basically overpriced toner in a bottle. The bottle is not spill proof.

decided to try this apple peel. I'm on week#1so far: skin becomes slightly pink after applying it I guess that's the exfoliation working, scent is not pleasant but fades away quickly(probably the worst scent of all Origins products and I've been using Origins for a long time) Instructions are not clear as to what do I use after applying this peel, do I follow up with a toner or use serum/and moisturizer? we'll see, I'll update my review after I finish the bottle

Youthtopia apple peel smells so good and it redefined my facial smoothness. Highly recommend this product!!!
