Kichler Lighting Hatteras Bay 1 - Light Pendant in Olde Bronze

Great looking and works perfectly outside. We put 3 in our covered outdoor entertaining are over the bar.

Replacing a burned out LED was difficult. I could have used two more hands because the lens and the lower ring are separate items. I firmly believe that this was not the intention of the original designer. There are six sets of padded "fingers" in the fixture. Three are attached to the upper ring and three to the lower, spaced 120° around the inside diameter. It appears that the protruding fingers were meant to be bent over the bottom lip of the top globe and over edge of the bottom lens before the unit was hung. If that was done, the bottom ring and lens could be supported by one hand, while the other hand removes the four thumb screws. By the way, the screw portion of the thumb screws backed out of the thumb nut in two of the four, so that assembly needs to be improved.
