Very nice fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another quality product from Kitchler! This fixture is sturdy, well-made, and very handsome. My husband and I were able to install it easily ourselves. I would recommend having a helper to hold the fixture while someone else wires it because it is a bit heavy. My only gripe is that the glass is held in place by two small screws and one screw was missing from the package. We had a similar screw on hand, so it wasnt a big deal, but i would prefer that the glass screw into the mount without additional hardwear. Overall its a great looking light and very high quality.

Beautiful and easy to install.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Grand Bank 2-Light Semi-Flush light by Kichler is an absolute beauty. I hung it in my kitchen and it's the first thing people notice when they step in my kitchen. Installation was easy and the instructions were simple to follow and clear as what to do. The fixture was on the heavy side, but built very well. Light bulbs are easily accessible by twisting the glass globe. This light fixture is beautiful and interesting. I would recommend this light.

New look
We are remodeling and have not put the light in place, but it is beautiful and just as described in the online catalog. It is a bit heavier than I expected.

Not as nice as you'd think
We waited 3 months for this to be in stock in Canada. It's been up since late August. Today it audibly 'snapped'. No one was touching it/doing anything - it was just hanging as it should be. When we checked the light, there is a vertical crack running up the 'wood' look band from the glass right up to the top. It's about 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide. Very disappointed. To remove and return it would mean an electrician's visit twice, and that's not happening. Also, once installed, we realized that the top is open, so a lot of the light goes up on the ceiling, not down. It does not throw as much light as you'd think with 2 bulbs and clear glass. That is not shown or mentioned anywhere in the info, and perhaps should be included so it's not a surprise to anyone else. FYI - it weighs a ton, which made us believe it was solid metal. The 'wood' part split shows white, so I'm thinking that part is perhaps painted plaster? I really can't recommend this light, as nice as it seems. Quality control is obviously an issue.
