Don't Be Fooled

Don't be fooled by the description provided by the manufacturer. The chairs were packaged well, but that is the last positive statement that I can make regarding these chairs. The chairs were impossible to assemble because nothing lined up. There was also a terrible overwhelming chemical smell being emitted from the fabric on the seat as well as on the cushion on the back of the chair. I returned them immediately.

Not beige but brown

Price: 5/5 Craftsmanship: 4/5 Sturdiness: 5/5 Colour: 1/5 Assembling: 2/5 This was a great deal. We’ve been looking for dining chairs and couldn’t find something that is priced affordably. I chanced upon this and immediately purchased this after this was on my favourite list for a month or so. Delivery was fast; received it 2 working days after I’ve ordered. The issue happened when I opened the box. First and foremost, the colour and description in the picture depict it as beige. What I got is brown, a colour which was not part of the selection. Secondly, the instruction for putting the chair up was incorrect. The left side was supposed to be on the right and vice versa. Time was wasted as I was fixing the back support and it couldn’t be screwed in. Lastly, there were no holes pre-made for the stabilisation. I do not have an electric screwdriver and told my husband to assemble it instead. The end product looks great. It is sturdy, the back support fits comfortably and it is ideal for dining. I didn’t want to return it as it is such a hassle and we already liked it.
