    If you plan on sitting on them, look elsewhere

    There chairs are poorly designed. Their marketing states that these are designed for everyday living but within a few months of buying these, all of our chairs have a ton of play. We've owned everything from 1920s barley twist oak chairs to inexpensive Ikea chairs but none of those chairs ever had any play in them. These are held together with screws and dowels rather than traditional wood joints, which is understandable at this price. But they should be so loose that even tightening all screws does nothing to improve the looseness.

    Love the look not sure how they will hold up long term

    Love the look of these chairs. We have 8 of them but one broke after less than a year. We went ahead and ordered another 2 pack to replace it and have an extra in case any more break. It snapped right at the top where the wood curves.

    We ended up buying new

    We have only used these chairs in our dining room so they have barely been used in the 1 1/2 years that we have had them. They are so loose and won’t tighten up anymore. Not sure they are even safe to so in anymore. I would highly recommend not buying these chairs if you plan to sit in them. They will not last. So disappointed.

    Horrible quality.

    I ordered a dining room table, 4 chairs, a coffee table and an end table. I really do like the style of it all. The furniture keeps splitting. I've never encountered anything like this before. The company did replace some items but I honestly don't even want them at this point. There has to be something wrong with the construction or seasoning of the wood. No other furniture I have owned has done this in my house. Waste of money. All of the furniture is a few months old. I'd definitely look elsewhere.

    The wood is rotten on

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wood is rotten on one of the chairs I purchased, making it break in two places only days after we purchased our dining room suit. I reached out to Plank & Beam but, after a week, the company has offered me no resolution. If it had simply replaced that chair, I was prepared to purchase two more, since, after we received our four, we decided that our dining room could accommodate two more. Unfortunately, I cannot, at this time recommend the chairs or the business.
