Blue Pure 511i Max HEPASilent smart air purifier quickly cleans up to 465sqft living space in 30min or 193 sqft in about 12.5min on high. Independently evaluated for safety standards and third-party tested for performance as part of the AHAM Verifide Program for air cleaners, this air purifier has a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 125 for fine smoke particles, dust and pollen. Get more out of the filter thanks to our proprietary RealTrack algorithm where fan speed, usage time and pollution levels are used to calculate exactly how dirty the filter is based on actual usage and tells you more accurately when to replace it within 9 months.

    Very quiet

    This seems to work--when I clean the litter box, the air cleaner nearby speeds up to clean the dust from the air. We'll see what happens if it's a smoky summer.I originally bought a larger model for my bedroom, but then bought this smaller one for the bedroom and moved the larger unit into the great room.

    Filtering works, air quality reading not reliable

    We bought this item after we discovered mold in the basement and our infant already has respiratory issues so it’s in his room. It runs well and silent, but the air quality reading is not accurate. It has constantly been saying the air quality is excellent and at a 0, but we feel the effects of the mold particles when we re-enter our home. We know it’s not a solution to the mold, (we have removal scheduled, so just managing for now) but it shouldn’t say it’s excellent air when we immediately feel headaches and congestion come back. We do not use the auto option due to this and just have it constantly run. We bought a different air purifier for our larger living space and it right away said the air quality was poor. While I do trust it is filtering, the air quality reading is not reliable.

    Easy set up and real buttons to turn on, turn up or shut off, as well as ‘auto’. Wish the much larger 211iMax had been as simple to operate as this one.Highly recommend this one.

    Quiet and Efficient!

    I have 2 Blue Air Air Purifiers... the 311i+ MAX and the 511i MAX and they are great! You can tell the differnece in air quality when you walk into the rooms they are in. I love that I can control them from the App. Even when on Level 3 (I have them both set on Auto) they are much more quiet than the Levoit I have in my bedroom. I can see another 511i MAX in that room soon.

    So disappointing! Too fragile and poorly made fan assembly.

    I bought one which was quiet enough for sleeping, however it fell off the night table and stopped working instantly. Way too fragile! Replaced it. First couple days it ran very quietly, then started making a faint plastic-on-plastic sound. Decided it just wasn't worth it. So sad, my family has owned BlueAir purifiers for about 20 years, most had metal cases, were quiet on low settings, super efficient on high settings, and built like tanks. So dissappointed.

    Another Happy Customer

    timing was great

    Had to have plumbers break up a 4 foot section of our concrete slab to fix a pipe. The dust was bad. The filters cleaned it right up. Had both the 311 and the 511 going!

    Litter box

    I placed my air purifier next to the litter box. Works well. The other day I waited until til the end of the day to clean the litter box and the air purifier fan went up on speed then the light changed color. Really cool to see it working well. Now I need to figure out what one i want next. Marmalade is a feral cat and hes not bothered by the purifier.

    Imma be honest, I've had a lot of unreliable bad air purifiers for my house. At first, I had many doubts of the reviews of this Blue Pure 511i Max, but after one month of using this purifier, I have to say this right here, IS THE BEST CHOICE for cleaner air for your home! I currently have 2 for my living room and for my personal room, and I must say I always walk into my home with cleaner, fresher air!!     Auto Mode Limited to 2.5PM Particles

    The product description is misleading because nowhere does it mention that auto mode only activates when the particle sensor detects PM2.5 particles. So if you’re concerned about smaller particles like smoke, viruses, and bacteria, which are PM1, this purifier won’t automatically filter them. I plan to return it.
