Holes aren’t lined up the welded screw holes popped out as we were trying to attach the cabinet. Unfortunately for me I purchased these in advance before the room was ready and now that I’m putting them together the window for return is up. Please don’t waste your money on these.

It was super easy to build and probably the quickest thing I've ever built. Unfortunately, it looks huge but is actually quite small (about 20 inches taller than a normal bookshelf - which is a big aesthetic issue for me). That's my fault though, because I didn't look at the dimensions carefully and jumped to conclusions.

Over the years, my wife has collected a ton of knickknacks and travel trinkets. From dainty elephants to suspiciously cute teacups, they've been tucked away in storage like exiled royalty―until now. Here comes the corner shelf. Rugged, trustworthy, and cool in an understated "I belong in a corner, but I'm still confident" way. Assembly? Not bad! It took us about two hours, with almost no swearing and only one "where did the screws go?" moment. Unless you enjoy scrambling to find holes like you're defusing a bomb, assembling on the floor is definitely recommended. The box arrived looking like it had been through a minor forklift dispute, but everything inside was packed up professionally―no casualties. All the hardware was in place. Unless you enjoy the slow romance of an Allen key, a power drill will speed things up. Now, our treasures are finally out of hiding and on full display. The corner is happy. We're happy. Even the elephant is probably happy. We've decided to buy another one for the dining room.

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to this time because I was so pleased with the quality of this shelf. Not only did it come beautifully packaged with all the holes lined up (which is not usually the case with other furniture that you have to assemble yourself)! But the material is also very solid. Very satisfied!

It was fairly easy to assemble and looks nice, though be careful not to put too many heavy objects on the stand. All in all, I give it 2 thumbs up

Have you ever wanted to build a bookshelf from scratch? This kit will help you do that! You'll need to install rails on each shelf, assemble the frame, and screw the shelves into the frame. Once you're done, you'll feel an incredible sense of accomplishment. The time you invested will be rewarded with a bookshelf unit that looks exactly like the picture... provided you remove all the stickers, of course. That's right, each component of this bookshelf is labeled with an ID, and some even have their own security tags. You don't have to worry about any unidentified parts because these stickers are not like the ones that fall off during shipping and require a lot of rubbing and chemicals to remove. But once you remove them, you have a beautiful bookshelf that looks like real wood and is very sturdy. This kit actually comes with extra hardware, and I bet you'll have some extra screws left over when you're done. These screws are for units that aren't made in an L-shape. The metal frame is sturdy and well-made, and it has lots of holes in various configurations. You'll want to pay close attention to these holes while assembling so that you don't have to assemble it in reverse to get the holes where you need them. Once you're done, the frame will probably have a lot of holes that your configuration doesn't need, so all you have to do is apply the provided plastic stickers over the holes to hide them. This works surprisingly well! They also provide a set of hooks that you can hang things from the side rails of the bookcase. I haven't decided what I'm going to hang them from yet, but they're nice. I found the following construction timeline very helpful and made the whole process less daunting: Day 1 Sort by sticker ID Day 2 Install rails on shelves Day 3 Assemble frame - take your time, this is your chance to get all the holes where you want them! Day 4: Attach shelves to frame and secure - don't forget to install the Z-clips if you're building an L-shaped unit. Day 5: Remove the exposed ID stickers. This part may seem impossible, but it can be removed with a little strength and a few tools. Day 6: Move the bookcase into its new home and enjoy!

I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons for over 30 years and have a collection of hundreds of books and other gaming materials. This is the first bookshelf I own that is sturdy enough to hold the weight of my collection without bending or breaking. It holds even the tallest books and game boxes in my collection upright, which is not common in modern bookshelves. I would have preferred a solid black, but the wood grain looks beautiful on it and I love it. I will definitely be buying a few more of these bookshelves.
