Worst drawstings ever!
I rarely write reviews but after weeks of dealing with these annoying bags I have to warn others. I don't necessarily mind the scent but it is strong. The drawstrings, however, are absolutely garbage. Pun intended. I cannot pull a full bag of trash out of my can without the drawstrings stretching and breaking through the bag. In fact, they completely ripped through once and I had to dump the trash into another bag which created an absolute mess. I usually buy target brand and have never had this issue before. I now have to replace the bag when it's 75% full to avoid this issue. Which means I use more bags for the same amount of trash. I'm so mad I have so many left to go through before the box is empty. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.

Strong chemical smell
When I opened the box, the smell of Fabulosa is so overwhelming and toxic smelling. Inhaling this odor cannot be healthy. I will set them outside for a few hours to help dissipate this chemical smell.

As others have mentioned here and elsewhere, the fabuloso scent stinks to high heaven. I honestly thought a strong chemical cleaner had been spilled somewhere in my house until I finally figured out it was these awful bags. Hefty customer service was not responsive to my complaint. These are still far superior to the Glad brand equivalent, whose drawstrings always break, but I will stick with the lavender scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bags are strong. Considering the constant tears from our previous bags, of different brands, these are proving exceptional to holding up. Including the strength of the drawstrings which have not yet torn when carrying a heavy load. However, they do come off the rim of the trash can, and I have to dig for it before other trash is thrown in. Otherwise the durability makes them a good choice.

The Fabuloso scent was amazing and strong! I used some of these bags to cover my wardrobe while moving and the smell was amazing and kept for a month in storage.

It is extremely overpowering and gave me a headache. Great bags if you aren't overly sensitive to scents and fragrances, which I normally am not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hefty is well-known for its quality trash bags. These 13 gallon ultra strong kitchen trash bags are no different. Since kitchen trash tends to be on the "hefty" side, especially if you cook a lot, it's wonderful to have trash bags that won't rip open. I have filled the entire 13 gallon bag and the drawstring was still able to secure the bag properly and I had no trouble in transporting the bag from my kitchen to our big trash cans outside the house. Overall, if you're looking for dependable, strong trash bags for all your kitchen waste, these hefty trash bags will fit the bill very nicely!

Great Trash Bags!

They truly are ultra strong and having the draw string makes it easier to pull the trash bag out of the trash can and carry it to the curb. These trash bags rarely break , even the draw string can handle the load! There is a sight scent to the bags that are not overwhelming and just enough to help destroy any foul odors. MUST BUY!

I can smell them through out the house for a long period of time, which I love. I cook a lot and always eating fruits and vegetables, so if I can't get my trash out until morning I know my kitchen won't smell horrible. And they are super sturdy and strong. I never get the feeling the bag is gonna bust open on my way to the dumpster.

The bags I received were scented with fabulosity which smells really good in the beginning but gives off an odd smell after a while. I do recommend the bags however not scented.

Love the 13-gallon size, it works well in almost all of my trashcans -- kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms. Stretchy strong is the perfect way to describe them, and I haven't had a single one leak or break. Loving them so far, highly recommend!
