Plank+Beam Solid Wood Farmhouse Twin over Full Bunk Bed, Pecan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bunk beds we purchased look nice and weren’t overly hard to put together, though the screws were labeled differently on the package and instructions and we’re missing a few screw inserts that are preventing us from installing the last stair for the top bunk, which is frustrating because it seems to be a very specific piece. Overall happy but unsure how to finish installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The units are well made and sturdy, but the opening for conventional mattresses for both the twin and full are so small you can’t make the beds up without lifting the mattress up and pulling it over the side to put the sheets on. It’s a total disappointment. My wife and I are older and the difficulty in this is overwhelming. Would not buy this product again. The design was not thoroughly thought through. I gave it a two star rating because they are sturdy.

The only thing I wish was different is that that the full size bed frame was an inch longer and wider to more easily accommodate the bedding on the mattress. It is an extremely tight squeeze to get the sheets and comforter tucked in on the foot of the mattress.

Love the way this looks in the room, set it up this weekend. I appreciate the sturdy design. Unfortunately one of the plank number 9's is significantly cracked and i'm concerned the crack will spread with someone using the top bunk. Can you please give me a custom service number or email. It could have a better directions, more simplified but overall very good for assembly. A couple of holes were a bit off but overall great. The finish is beautiful and the finished product looks fabulous. It is a very well made product and it's heavy but manageable.

Strong and substantial bunk bed. It took a longer time to assemble than I would have preferred. I suggest one assemble the bunk bed in the room where it will stay as moving it would be a challenge.

Assembly took forever. The directions are poor. There's a large sticker on the bed frame that when pulled off also pulls off all of the stain, leaving a sizable bare patch which will need to be re-stained. Poor quality workmanship all around.

Picked up a couple of these beds- delivery came quickly and we just put together without issues. Sturdy and strong- using for camp beds with kids/young adults. Purchased the gray and white- both were as expected and without flaw! Thanks

A few months ago I had to downgrade from a big apartment into a very smaller one. I needed a bed big enough for my new bedroom that could comfortably fit 3 people. I started searching online and came across Plank+Beam website. I read lots of good reviews about their products so I decided to give them a try. The Rustic Twin over Full Bunk Bed caught my eye. I ordered it about 5 weeks ago. The shipment came before the scheduled time. The moment I opened the boxes I fell in love with the rustic greyish color of the wood. It's even more beautiful than the picture, very rich looking. The quality of the material looks very good as well. However, time will tell after a long use of the beds. I put them together completely by myself. I follow the instructions to the 'T' except for the part when you have to lift the twin bed and place it over the full/bottom bed. Obviously no one can do that unless you're a superwoman or superman. You have to become a little more creative here. I placed the entire front legs and the entire back legs of the top bed over the bottom one. Secured them well, then installed the two sides of second bed. The entire mounting process for both beds took me about half a day with little breaks in between. I really enjoyed doing it. Extremely easy to put it together. It's a great solution for small apartments like mine. So far I give it a 5 star.

The bed is beautiful, easy to assemble with clear instructions. I really like the finish in the wood. It gives you the options to make the bottom bed higher or lower. Perfect!
