  • A: Hello, the Lil Kick scooter is intended for younger kids aged 3+. The PowerWing series might be a better option for a 10-year old. The PowerWing DLX is a three-wheeled scooter for ages 6+ and has an adjustable handlebar to accommodate taller riders. Perfect for our 2 yr old grandson but the handgrips are cheap and you should have replacements on line to order. Otherwise, he's on it all day long...

Feels flimsy and cheaply made

Assembly was easy enough. However, the materials used in the build, specifically the plastic feels crappy. The wheels feel cheap and the front fork design also feels like it's not well made. I actually got injured from the foam safety pad that sits on the handlebars because there was a sharp metal fragment just hanging out on the velcro...it lodged itself into my thumb! Apart from that, the price wasn't too bad and my kid likes it. The handlebar grips are nice. Just wish it was better built and the quality control on the metal burs left after manufacturing is pretty lacking. Not just because of the metal shard I got had lodged into my thumb but also when you look at the holes, they are pretty jagged looking and you could definitely get cut if you brushed across it the wrong way.

Great for little kids!

I bought this scooter for my 3 year old niece and she LOVES it...and she looks so cute riding it! This was her first scooter, and it's quickly become her favorite toy. If you're looking for a fun, safe, scooter for a small child, I'd highly recommend this one!
