  • A: Yes it is. If not, the resin will not set. You either need the sunlight or an artificial form of it. I prefer a flashlight bc it cures it faster

It’s ok

I was given one for Christmas and I thought that it was so cute and adorable. I ended up getting the cherry jelly and after poring the limited resin into the mould it just wouldn’t set I ended up with a really big hole at the top that the even the whipped cream wouldn’t fit overall it had small holes in and took 3 days to set isn’t the best design slightly disappointing.

I bought this got the panda one it was cute on the package but I did EXACTLY what they said it looked like mashed potatoes with pipe cleaner UGLY like I wanted the ice cream look

Super adorable minis

I am just starting to get into miniverse, I'm a doll customizer and crafter who loves miniature things. The miniverse product is absolutely excellent, the quality of the items has been amazing... So I ordered this one as well, trying to get a few from every series. I got the rare umbridge tea set the other day and I think this will do well as a snack to go along side it. I got the green Jello cups, they were super easy to make and are very cute. Unfortunately they only gave one spoon so only one doll will have a spoon with their jello. I really wish they would have given two for a full set. That is my only complaint. Will be getting more miniverse soon.

Great idea that just does not work. Waste of money.

The resin never sets. My kids have spent over $50 in gift cards to buy the kits and the Kitchen which is supposed to cure the resin. But it never sets. It will always stay as liquid goo to get all over your carpets and furniture. Great idea, but absolutely never works. My kids are now banned from wasting their money on these. Ha!

Returned - not what we were looking for

This is completely my fault for not paying enough attention. These items were near the LOL Candy Surprise and I assumed they were also edible. I purchased a few of these and a few of the smaller variety for stocking stuffers. I did not notice one was for sushi as that would have triggered me to think this can't be edible. At any rate, this is likely a good gift for an older child or someone wanting to put on a show. My daughter makes the lol gummies and serves them to guests for fun so that was my intention. I returned and exchanged these for LOL Candy Suprise kigs since there are no refill options available and we have no need to make food for show. The cake/doughnut maybe cooler than the sushi but we returned all that were unopened.

Overpriced

It’s a fun idea. But, at least make the fun last more than a minute.. for all of them. We got the roll one. Everything was already done besides adding the resin and the toppings. Also, you do need a UV light to cure. The sun won’t work. Thankfully I had that or this would have been a total waste. These are way overpriced for what they actually are.

Won’t cure

I got the rainbow cake yesterday. I followed the directions and it won’t cure properly. I tried both sun and blue light and it was still extremely stick hours later. Same with the crepe a la mode. Very sticky and not curing right.

Fun for keeping little hands busy

I get these to entertain my toddler on airplane rides. They are always amazing how detailed the little items are, he loves them and I actually enjoy them too. I do wish they were slightly less expensive.
