No lavender scent at all
This has no lavender scent at all - zero. It smells like unscented Ivory soap. Overall, I think it is a good quality soap, the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I was very excited about getting a lavender scented soap and so disappointed when I discovered there was no lavender scent at all. I bought an 8 count box, so unfortunately, I will be stuck with it for a while.

Damaged package
I've never had a problem with pick up orders, but I took the soap out of the bag and the plastic wrap and the box was torn. Not only was it torn, the bar of soap is broken up inside. Now if the person who packed this order knew it, shame on them. I will be bringing it back to the store tomorrow. I am very disappointed.

Disappointing
I purchased this thinking it would smell like lavender but it smells like chemicals. There is absolutely NO lavender smell to this. Very disappointed. I want to return this but can't find the money back link.

What Happened To the wonderful scent of Lavender?
I have used Dove Beauty Bars for my choice of bar soap. Dove bar soap is very gentle, moisturizing and has tons of creamy goodness. I was always a fan of the white bar until the green tea and cucumber scentcame out But now my favorite Bar is the Relaxing Bar with Lavender & Chamomile. However, last week I purchased an 8 Bar Pack of the Relaxing w/Lavender & Chamomile Bars. I was so disappointed when I removed the outer cellophane and the scent of the soap did not envelope the entire bathroom like normal. In fact, I did not smell any Lavender at all. I took a shower expecting to get that great Lavender essence that is so relaxing and I thought maybe I will smell it better after it’s wet and lathered. I could not believe my favorite calming and relaxing soap didn’t have a scent at all.. Did Dove change the formula? If so, I do not care for it. The main reason I buy this scent is for spa type of relaxation and the way it really does clean the stress of the day away.

Icky Smokey smell…
I bought a package of 8 bars at the grocery store because I loved the fragrance. It continued to smell great for the first 3 showers but now the lavender fragrance has worn off and it has an awful Smokey smell… and I still have 7 bars :(

Best Lavender Soap!
My daughter and I absolutely LOVE this soap!!! We even use on our faces!! Excellent product!!! I'm going through menopause and with the nightsweats this soap really makes me feel good in the morning!! Hope it never gets discontinued!!!!

Very relaxing
Dove soap is the only thing I buy. I have sensitive skin, I’ve tried other brands , but I always come back to dove. It’s so sensitive and creamy. Makes every shower feel like I’m at a spa.
