Chalkolate
I know taste is subjective. I love Premier Protein's Orange Cream Swirl shake and I have read negative reviews about it from other folks. But this (and the Dark Chocolate Indulgence) is just hideous. I think it should be called Chalkolate Covered Strawfulberry...and know the only ones you are indulging when you buy it is the company who makes it. And again, I love several things they make but this is literally death by chocolate.

Beer Taste and Bad Smell
These taste so disgusting and smell awful. I’ve tried other protein shakes from them and none were near the horrible after taste of this. It almost tasted yeasty, like a beer. Not an indulgent chocolatey flavor at all, in fact the chocolate flavor was actually pretty light. Was not a fan at all.

Misled and Overcharged
Online price is $10.59 for a 4 pk. I had to run into the store to pick up some other items, so I picked this up at the same time. In-store pricing was $31.99 a 4 pk!!!! Just checked the app to be sure of both prices. I almost never check my receipt but I shop at Target almost daily. Feels super deceptive and left wondering what else I have been grossly overcharged for? BTW, there is NOTHING indulgent about this flavor. It has almost no flavor. Less chocolatey than the normal chocolate flavor.

Not impressed with the flavor. I am a huge dark chocolate fan and was really excited when I saw this new flavor. It seemed no different than the regular chocolate flavor. I drank it and it was fine, just expected more.

Yummy….
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did overall enjoy the taste of this protein shake. With 30 g of protein, 3 g of sugar and only 170 cal. It is a great meal replacement option. It would be great for breakfast or for lunch and you could even throw a salad in with it. I love how low-calorie it is. The taste is good, the sweet taste is not too sweet and quite satisfying. This protein shake is good and creamy, but not too thick that it makes it hard to drink. The high protein and thickness of the shake kept me full for breakfast. However, if I would have this for lunch, I would probably eat a salad to go along with it because I did find that I got hungry about two hours later. Overall, very good protein shake, and a very good option for meal replacement.

I usually don't buy from this brand because they tend to have a protein/vitamin taste to them, but this one was actually really good. I would definitelu buy this flavor!
