Santa is upset with Target
I made a purchase on the 19th Target had a system malfunction, so they cancelled my order but reorder in there system. They cancelled my gift card of 50.00 and didn't give me the bundle supposed to have gotten with the free play.

Dangerous
The device heated up to the point of the charging port and area surrounding MELTED. We were using the charger that came with the product. We immediately unplugged it, I can’t imagine what would have happened if we didn’t.

Great when it actually works
I had no plans to write a review, but we bought this for my son last Christmas and it stays broken more than he actually gets to play it. I'm guessing it must be a terrible model, it is SO buggy. We have had to replace the headset and one controller through the warranty and now both controllers have gone bad. Not even a year into owning it. Dealing with customer service is such a pain, too. My older son's Quest 2 has had nowhere near the problems this one has had.

Biggest waste of money
But even half a year in and the controllers won’t connect to the headset. All the solutions say to update the controller( which I can’t do cause it won’t connect. restart the controller or headset. Third time of doing that and it only lasts a day before I need to do it all over again. The only solution I haven’t tried is buying new controllers from their customer service. This is the worst purchase I ever made

Hey there, We want you to have the best possible experience in the world of VR and know how this experience can be negatively impacted by not being able to connect your Meta Quest Touch Controllers to your Meta Quest 3S headset. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you have attempted so far, including restarting the controllers and headset. Please remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect power, battery fit, or controller detection. For example, rechargeable grips, controller covers, etc. Also, please replace the controller batteries with a fresh ones. Should your issue persist after having followed these steps, then please attempt the following: - Make sure your headset is turned on, then open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone. - Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed. - Tap Devices. - Select the headset you want to pair controllers to. - Tap Headset settings, then tap Controllers. - Tap Pair New Controller. - Choose which controller you'd like to pair. - Press and hold the Meta button and B button on your right controller or Menu button and Y button on your left controller until the controller LED blinks and then lights up to finalize the pairing. If the issue persists after having followed all of these steps, then please reach out to our dedicated Support Team via our official support website.

Target sold me an opened Meta Quest 3s — horrible experience
I bought a Meta Quest 3s (128GB) from Target using Drive Up. When they brought it to my car, I immediately saw the box was damaged and the seal was broken. (I’ll attach photos.) It was clearly opened before. I went straight to the counter to exchange it — but instead of helping me, they just refunded it at the discount price, no questions asked. The worst part? They didn’t have any more 128GB units in stock — only the more expensive 256GB version. I asked if they could ship me one or help me find another store. They said no, and told me to call around myself. Seriously? That’s your customer service? Even worse — when I asked why they gave me an opened product, they had the nerve to blame me. Said I might have opened it myself. I hadn’t even left the parking lot! They didn’t care at all. Totally unprofessional and honestly feels like a scam. Selling opened items as new? That’s fraud. In the end, the manager gave me a gift card for the discount I lost, but that doesn’t fix how badly this was handled. I’m furious. This whole thing was a joke. I don’t recommend buying electronics from Target. Check everything — they clearly don’t.

Charging cord burnt
We bought this on Black Friday as a Christmas gift and it’s only June and the headset stopped charging so we had to do a factory reset and two days later the cord almost caught fire while we were sleeping.
