Q: Is it possible to disable or turn off the blue tooth or is it always searching?
A: Hello Lb, Thank you for reaching out with this great question! This Hearth & Hand Retro Portable Bluetooth Radio will continuously search for a Bluetooth connection when it is "On" and in "BT" mode. If you do not want it to be searching for a Bluetooth connection simply turn it "OFF" or put it in "AM" or "FM" mode. We hope this information helps! If you need further assistance please reach out to our Tech Support Team at support@ttinno.com.

Q: Would this work for the beach and the drive in?
A: Hello Sof, Thank you for reaching out with this great question! Our Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Retro Portable Radio would not be a great fit for the beach since it should not be used in high temperatures, extreme weather or near a water source. This radio is an indoor product, but it should work at the drive in if you keep it inside the vehicle and you do not expose it to extreme cold or heat. We hope this information helps, but if you need further assistance please email us at support@ttinno.com. Thank you again and have a great week!

Q: How long does the charge last?
A: Hello Dridree, Thank you for reaching out! Obviously the length of time between charges will depend on the amount of use, which is why there was no definite length of time named in the user manual. I know that in my personal experience with a similar Hearth & Hand with Magnolia radio a full charge lasts about 6 weeks, but I only use this radio for a few hours 1-3 times a week. I have sent a request to our Engineering Team to see if they have any additional insight from their testing, and when I hear back from them I will update this answer. Thank you and have a great day! UPDATE: Our Engineering Team stated that in their testing they found that if the radio is not turned on at all, then the battery charge will last about 8 months. However for playing sound, since each user's habits are different, the team based their testing on playing pink noise continuously with the volume set to 50%, and the charge lasted about 8 hours. We hope this additional information helps. Thank you! And have a great week!

Q: Is the AM radio option supposed to work? Right now it only works on FM. AM is also FM and Bluetooth. It does not pick up AM stations when it is on the AM option.
A: Hello Katie, Thank you for reaching out with this great question! Yes, the AM radio option is supposed to work, so if it's not picking up any stations, there are a few things you can try. First, make sure the mode is set firmly to “AM” and not FM or Bluetooth. Then, fully extend the telescopic antenna and try adjusting its position or moving the radio near a window, since AM reception can be sensitive to interference and location. Powering the unit off and back on while in AM mode can also help reset the tuner. Remember that the radio can only pickup on AM stations that broadcast to your location. If you cannot pick up any AM stations from other devices in your area, then there may not be any in the air near you. If none of these steps work and FM and Bluetooth are working fine, the radio may be defective and you can exchange it at Target. We hope this information helps, but if you need further assistance please email our Tech Support Team at support@ttinno.com. Thank you and have a fabulous week!

Q: I’m giving the radio as I gift so I don’t want to look take unwrap cardboard packaging to look at manual. My question is- does the battery need to be charged before first use?
A: Hello HMC, Thank you for your question! The rechargeable lithium battery in the radio typically comes with a partial charge from the factory, so it may work right out of the box. However, for best performance and battery longevity, we recommend fully charging the radio before its first use. This helps ensure the battery is properly calibrated and ready for longer play sessions. We hope the gift is a hit! Q: Can this radio be plugged in rather than using battery?
A: Hello Surf4db, Thank you for reaching out with your questions! The Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Portable Radio can technically be left plugged in and used while charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the power supply automatically switches to DC mode, allowing the radio to operate without overcharging the battery. That said, we don’t recommend leaving it plugged in continuously for long periods. In rare cases, doing so can cause the rechargeable battery line to short-circuit, which may result in the radio turning off even when plugged in. If this happens, the unit can be replaced or refunded under the Target store warranty. We hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, feel free to contact our Tech Support team at support@ttinno.com.

Q: Can I connect two of these for dual speakers? We like to move the speakers around as we listen to them and sometimes we are in separate rooms to work.
A: Hello K, Thank you for reaching out with your question about the Retro Portable AM/FM Bluetooth Radio by Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia. This radio is designed as a standalone unit—it’s a single speaker and does not have the capability to connect to a second unit for dual speaker audio. While it’s great for portable listening and easy to move from room to room, unfortunately, it does not support pairing two radios together for stereo or multi-room audio.
