Works well for my needs.
I have had no issue for the first year of use. This keeps my 800 sq ft house in the PNW at 40 % humidity nicely. I just have to empty the bucket set to level 4 every 3-5 days depending. I have thermometers in three rooms that also show the humidity level and they are all always close unless I'm taking a shower or cooking. I just dump the bucket into the tub whenever it's full. My only complaint so far is I wish it was a little more quiet. I liked this design better than the quieter ones for emptying and capacity and the quieter ones were also more expensive.

disappointing purchase
This dehumidifier is quite loud–about as loud as a window a/c. I wish information about the decibel level was mentioned in the product description. Another aspect that makes me regret purchasing it is that it emits hot air when in use, heating up my entire apartment and making for an very unpleasant living atmosphere.

Works Extremely Well!
Works extremely well. Removes the moisture in my son’s apartment better than the old ceiling fan. Really help control the mold problem. Best thing we could have ever bought him!

Small and mighty
It’s so small without the water tank and empties straight into my sump pump. It’s quiet, easy to operate, and I can set the timer for a few hours every day. Also dries my sweaters faster in my usually humid basement. I definitely do not miss emptying a water tank!

Great Dehumidifier for a Great Price!
I've had other portable dehumidifiers that had a more conventional design. They were okay but I'm not so sure as efficient as the Media cube style unit. It works as advertised and draws the indoor humidity down fairly quickly. I like that it has both continuous drainage and bucket-less modes. I've only used it for about a month and am pleased so far. Just put it away today for the season but it will be back out come May, 2026 here in Central Kentucky!

Well thought out design.
I purchased two 20 pt cube dehumidifiers for my basement family room and laundry room. Very pleased with the quality of the unit and ease of operation. I like the idea of the pull- out screen filter - easy to clean and keeps the cooling coils clean - someone thought of a good idea! Also the unit is built well - nothing flimsy. Rare to see these days. Midea quality was a major factor in my decision to purchase a second cube dehumidifier and a window AC unit for my shop.

Do not buy it!
I bought this 5 days ago and installed it in my basement and the humidity sensor was defective. You indicated that the humidity was only 30% when I bought it because the humidity is over 50%. I complained to Midea and they admitted that they’re getting many customer complaints about the unit. Do not buy it.

Nice machine
Works great, keeps the humidity at the desired level and it’s easy to empty. If it were just a bit quieter it would be 100% perfect. I’ve never had a dehumidifier, so cannot compare the noise level to other models, but it’s about the same level as a quiet purifier or a small fan. Not bad.
