Schlage Plymouth Satin Nickel Entry Knobs Key: K4 1-3/4 in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this know for an exterior door. Old knob needed to be replaced. The Schlage said easy to install, but it was not as easy as expected. I think the knob may not be correct because the screws are on the top and bottom of the knob, but it works correctly, so no complains on it.

I could’ve bought a new bolt but this door knob is about 40 years old as it is and I figure I better just buy new because security is why I have this doorknob. It was very easy to install and the guy at the store re-keyed it for me. It’s reassuring using a good brand because Schlage is built to last! Would I recommend this product to others, yes, I would and I’ve done it. You get what you paid for and Schlage delivers!

Satin nickel looks modern, very easy to install. Replaced Schlage knob from 20+ years ago. I am confidant I will never have to change this knob again. Very satisfied with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Latch sticks in open position. The quality of the latch mechanism is not great. I am operating the latch on the longest opening and it works well when the knob is turned in one direction but sticks in open position when turned the other way. Just not a great design. Also finding that when I close the door, the latch doesn’t latch sometimes. That’s a huge security risk. Going to look for a better lock as this one is disappointing on many levels!
