Lifestyle Solutions Harper Loveseat Blue Velvet

The title says this sofa is Blue, but it is actually a beautiful dark teal/peacock blue, which is exactly the color I was looking for. It is a nice modern style, but could fit in with almost any style preference. The online description says, “Minimal Assembly Required: Enjoy the convenience of minimal assembly, making it hassle-free to set up…” and “ease of assembly…” NO and NO!! There was much more assembly required than I would consider “minimal.” Also, it was not “hassle-free.” The instructions that come in the box (which was very well and tightly packed, thank you!) says one person could do it, better with two people to assemble. It took three of us to do this. It is critical that the sofa seat portion be held up evenly (it took two people to do this part) while a third person slides the sides (sofa arms) onto the metal plates on the seat portion for them to glide on correctly. Otherwise, if the sofa is not held evenly, it could cause the metal plate(s) to become crooked and not connect in a precise manner, thus making the sofa wobbly, or causing spaces where there aren’t supposed to be any. Once assembled, the sofa is quite sturdy! A little heavier than I thought it would be, which is great! The cushion is a little more on the firm side, but very comfortable! I placed the sofa at the foot of my bed and it added a bit of style to my room. I really love this little sofa! It is WELL worth the price I paid for it! Really good quality for the money! (The pillows in the picture were purchased separately, months ago, from another store. Perfect Match!!)
