[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by these Eggo Protein vanilla pancakes. They came conveniently individually wrapped in packs of three, which was just the right amount for me. This allows for you to not worry about the rest of the package getting freezer burned and you can take your time eating them. They tasted quite good, especially for a product with extra protein. The flavor was the only slightly disappointing thing, but only because it didn’t taste like vanilla at all. Every Eggo product I’ve tried that claims a flavor has actually tasted like that flavor, and I’ve never needed syrup which is an extra bonus. However, I did need to use syrup for these which wasn’t a huge deal but I would have loved a vanilla flavor! All in all I highly recommend these, and will be repurchasing.

The texture was a little chewier and denser than regular pancakes. It was also thinner but I liked it. It comes with a sweetened flavor so syrup is more of an optional topping. It's not overly sweet. My kid liked it at first, then decided it wasn't for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Eggo brand everything so my review is biased. I’m a 90s kid who used to grab an eggo waffle on my way out the house when I left for school. When I got to school one of my favorite things to eat were the frozen pancakes they served for breakfast. This product pretty much captures that nostalgia for me. This isn’t a homemade pancake or even a quickserve/sit down diner pancake but it is great at what it tries to do. The vanilla is super mild and is instantly overpowered by the addition of butter and is nonexistent once syrup comes into play. The texture is not fluffy and is pretty dense but that is expected with frozen pancakes. It heats up quick in the microwave so it is a great option even when you only have a minute to get something in your belly. Lastly it was actually nicely filling and the protein is a great addition to help you stay feeling full as you count down the minutes until your lunch break.

You get 12 pancakes in a box which is a great value, but get this, they are portioned into 3 pancakes in a bag inside, which makes it so easy to meal plan. In a little over a minute I had a small stack of pancakes to serve. I suspect they will be asking for seconds!

They are quick to make in our toaster oven (or microwave) and they are so soft and fluffy. Add a little syrup on them and you have the perfect little breakfast. I tried these recently after being a long-time eater of their regular pancakes, which I really like. These new protein pancakes are ok - not great. The taste is mediocre compared to the regular pancakes. There is a little bit of a gritty feeling to the taste as well. Are they edible? Yes. Are they worth it? No. The protein pancakes don't taste as good as the regular ones yet cost more. Pass.
