Grass Lightweight Clumping Low Dust Odor Control Unscented Cat Litter - 10lbs - up&up™

I was excited to try this litter out as a cheaper option to what I normally use (Sustainably Yours). The litter was perfect until a friend and her mom came by to help me with something, and her mom seemed to suddenly be in a hurry to leave. Then, that evening, I smelled it! And extremely potent ammonia smell...I mean it was bad! I thought oh no, I hope it didn't smell like that when they were here, as I was burning a candle at the time. I asked my friend and oh yeah, it did, and that's why her mom had to get out quickly. I couldn't have been more embarrassed. Because of covid, my sense of smell is all messed up, so I rarely smell it. I knew it had to be one of the two litters I was using. Found it! This litter clumps fine and all, but the smell is atrocious!! Inuse it in my Litter Robot. Maybe if you scooped and tossed out every day it would be fine, but who wants to do that. So with that, I absolutely do NOT recommend this litter.

Please do not discontinue this liter. If you have cats try it and i PROMISE you will like it. Its very good!

Please bring this back to Conroe ??? Why did we stop selling it??

Absolutely LOVE this litter! Clumps great and there’s no dust at all. Also it doesn’t clump on my cats paws. switching to this as my main litter! Only complaint is i wish there was more in the bag

I love this non-clay alternative. It doesn't smell like chemicals, it feels eco-friendly, it's cheap, and theres no dust. I really hope they keep stocking it at least for shipping. Its been harder to find in stores. I wonder if not enough people tried it, but for us it's really great!

So far I think I REALLY LIKE it. I still had some other type of litter in my boxes so I just added this to the boxes & finally got EXACTLY what I wanted! ABSOLUTELY fragrance free, low dust, easy to scoop, clumps well,does not stick to my FLUFFY cat's bottom. I have yet to use this litter totally by its self, but I'm buying more @ the ONLY place I've found it - Target.

I loved the concept. Unfortunately one of my two cats disliked the texture/smell so much they began to pee on the carpet next to the litter box. When the other cat used the box the litter did not mask the smell at all. Since it has more of a sand texture it would track all over the house even with a litter mat. I really wanted to love the product but it was not a win for us.

love the grass no chemicals no clay you need to offer bigger bags and charge the same amount as clay litter for 35lb bucket of up and up clay this is discrimination against people and cats wh I can't be around clay toxic litter.

I really like this litter over the clumping clay. The light weight grass litter is equivalent to bout 30 lbs to fill 4” in our large steel enclosed litter box. So this does fill more than the clumping clay and light and fluffy. Not dense. The smell is nice and litter pan is not smelly. Clumping clay litter works well, but if I can switch to this version, I will stay with it. Our kitten is not picky, and she has not tried to eat it. So far 5 STARS! It is tracking but if you have a large litter catching mat, it will not track all over and you can dump the mat into the box. Odor is masked better than clumping clay. I have a super nose than some whose sense of smell is damaged or not well after Covid destroyed it. It is expensive but may be as much money as clumping clay with 30 lbs to this ratio amount filled to 4” in a 24”x17” steel box.

Zero and I mean ZERO dust! It maybe tracks slightly more than a regular clay litter but a mat will take care of that. Great for my asthma.

I had done a ton of research on safe litter alternatives from clay and pine and came across grass seed and tofu. Next was finding which was most affordable, and that was the Up & Up Natural Grass Seed Litter, especially when it's on sale. The odor control and tracking aren't the best, but safety, health, and affordability is what's most important to me, overall. My cat eats wet food mainly, so that may contribute to the smell. The area the litter box is in also doesn't have the best circulation, so I don't fault the litter. Tracking gets very annoying, but tolerable. Great at clumping, no dust. Summary: great, healthy and safe litter that's very affordable compared to others. Odor control might vary, based on your cats diet. Medium tracking, no dust.

The odor control is pretty good, it’s lightweight for the size of the bag, and it clumps pretty well. HOWEVER… It tracks EVERYWHERE. It is all over my house.

Great cat litter! No smells, no dust, absorbs well, lasts a long time. Does track a bit but so worth it, honestly hope this is never discontinued.

I have been searching for something that is low dust and this is it. It does not stick to my cats paws and I have long haired cats. It clumps so much better than clay basically no odor if you’re scooping every day. But best of all no dust and the cats prefer it!!! I do wish it came in a bigger size especially because the XL trays from target require at least a bag.

Easy to scoop. Clumps very well and quickly. Super light and the cats love it.

Dusty and sticks to paws

I love natural litters and I keep trying to find the BEST natural litter for both my asthmatic cat AND my litter robot. So far, this is hands down the winner out of the latest ones. I've been doing the slow intro and this clumps hard, has no smell, is lower dust than corn litter, and while I'm still getting some stuck litter to the LR4 liner, it's less than corn and a LOT less than the last plant litter I tried (which was a gooey mess!). I plan to purchase this again and keep trying as I'm not fully transitioned. Of note: I LOVE the handle and that I can open half the top opposite it. It's held up with a lot of picking up and over the unit (stored behind as my voids are plastic lovers) and pouring some in. PLEASE come out with a larger container of this!!

This is my first time trying grass litter! I like the no dust and all natural traits - but warning to others - one of my cats tried to eat it. Both out of the box when I first poured it and the pieces that were tracked outside. Haven’t seen anyone else mention that. The other one took to it right away and never chooses the old box with the clay litter, but she still hasn’t adjusted yet and continues to use the clay. We’ll keep trying because I like it!

Great cat litter, clumps well, no dust and all natural. Will continue to purchase.

Decided to try the natural grass litter. I’m so impressed! The clumping is fantastic. The litter is low dust like it claims so I’m loving that as well. My cat is a fan - so of course I am. Thumbs up!!
