I don’t quite know if it works or not as I’ve had it out for 24 hours, but I can’t get over how noisy the fan is. Laying on my couch, it’s two rooms away so a few and all I hear is it humming.

After a week of dealing with flys. I was at my wits end, looked into this model and another model. This one, unlike the other is very easy to change the cartridge. It is 9:30 PM and I head to Target to purchase. It has been on all night when I woke up, can only find I free fly.- Counted 35 caught in the trap.

I kept getting attacked by flying insects and they just flew near the fan, but didn't fly into the trap. I'm giving the fan trap a 3/5 for these reasons.

It’s fine, works ok for fruit flies but honestly seems kind of cruel and doesn’t work as well as an old fashioned fruit fly trap. Barely works for common house flies.

Flys keep landing on top of it instead of being sucked into it like they’re suppose to be. I’ve had maybe one fly get stuck on the inside. Has not been helpful at all.

We have had this fan trap on for a couple weeks now and we have noticed a decrease in the mosquitos around the house. It is lightweight and I have been able to move it around the house or even take outside when relaxing outdoors. It is easy to change it and clean it.
