Better Dairy Milk Option, Even If Slightly Expensive
If one has to or regularly consumes dairy milk, this is a better option because of the fact that it is an A2 dairy milk, which means that it is much better for issues of bloating and digestive discomfort that might come from dairy consumption. A1 dairy milk, which are most conventional dairy milks, can cause gastrointestinal inflammation and symptoms that mimic lactose intolerance. It also helps that it is free of lactose. Nutritional value is decent, especially given that it is a sweetened choclate milk. Taste is as what one might expect from chocolate milk. It being ultra-filtered 2% reduced fat contributes to it having better nutritional values when compared to conventional dairy milks.

Flavor is off, not chocolate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this. One of our kids is lactose intolerant so flavored milks are trickier to come by, the extra protein in this from vein ultra filtered made it a solid choice for me as a mom. The chocolate flavor is very artificial and almost more like a mocha flavor with an incredibly bitter chemical aftertaste. It was a hard pass by my daughter and knowing there are other brands with better flavor not something I will buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chocolate milk being lactose free does not have any sort of taste. Additionally the chocolate is a very light flavoring which as someone who grew up mixing chocolate powder into their milk, this is a much better version but not as chocolate filled. I think the monk fruit does have a slight taste but isn’t off putting by any means. This is a great chocolate milk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Pioneer Pastures lactose free ultra filtered 2 percent chocolate milk. This chocolate milk is delicious. I have never tried lactose free milk and to me it tastes just like regular milk, actually better. This chocolate milk is the best, it is creamy and not too thick. It has the perfect amount of chocolate flavor and it is not too sweet. This also has 14 grams of protein and only 8 grams of carbs so this Mom approves!

It’s a light but present chocolate flavor and it’s lactose free so doesn’t affect my daughter or myself and we can actually enjoy it. I love that it has a good amount of protein, very little sugar, and that yummy treat of a taste. This is great to drink by itself or even to turn into a luxurious protein shake!
