Melissa & Doug Feed, Walk & Poo Pup Wooden Preschool Pull Toy Play Set

Very cute and BIG hit with our 2 year old grandson. Especially fun because the family will soon be adding a live puppy to their house. The older brother (5) had fun showing him how to use it….super cute!

My granddaughters turned 3 & 5 recently. This gift was for the 3 year old…Farm puppets for the 5 year old. Received a message saying that they were physically fighting over it. I’m awesome at picking gifts 😂

As with most toddlers, I wish I could tell you why. But I can't. He absolutely loves it.

Cute, but doesn't work. The treats go in, but it does not poop. My niece was disappointed and we all agreed at Christmas that it was a bust.

Cute but didn’t come with the biscuits which is the main reason I bought the dog for my daughter. The packaging was torn, too. Not sure if someone returned it or the quality control is just lacking. There’s also a chip out of the wood on the top of the dog’s back. Of course my daughter doesn’t want to let go of the dog so I can’t see about exchanging it to get 1 that actually has the biscuits. I’m not buying another 1 just for the biscuits, either. It was only available for shipping, so I couldn’t check to make sure it had all the parts before purchasing.

I purchased the Feed, Walk and Poo Pup Play Set for the Pre-K class at my school. The kids absolutely loved it. The teachers liked the fact that it fosters imagination while encouraging responsibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun and clever toy! This wooden pup rolls along on a leash, comes with a little bag of wooden treats, ‘eats’ them, and then ‘poops’ them out as you walk it. Great for imaginative play and teaching kids responsibility in a playful way.

It’s held up well through plenty of playtime, so I can say the durability is definitely there. I love that it teaches kids about responsibility and routines in a fun, hands-on way, making it a great educational toy. Safety was clearly a priority too, with no small parts or sharp edges to worry about. Most importantly, my child is thoroughly entertained every time they play with it!

Fsir warning the little 'treats/poop" are not fun to step on as parent late at night, not to mention one is already lost not to be found. This is ok as he is more into walking the dog than the treat/poop aspect.

Totally enthralled my two year old granddaughter ( as well as her four year old brother). They love my dog, and are sad when I take her home, so this was a super hit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Melissa and Doug Feed, Walk, and Poo Pup has been so much fun for my kids! My 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son have spent hours walking this dog around our house. Even our actual pet dog has been following them trying to join the fun! They love to feed the dog treats as they walk. Then while the dog is walking, the poop falls out. It comes with a treat/poop bag for them to pick it up. I am hoping that this will teach my kids to pick up after their dog when they are older. The toy functions well and works just as expected. This toy is mostly wooden and made of high-quality materials. I have no doubt that it will last for a long time, even with some aggressive play from my kids. We are very happy with this toy which is providing hours of active play for my kids. Thank you to Influenster for allowing us to try this toy in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is almost 2 so she was a perfect age to test this toy out. I already like the Melissa and Doug toy brand and have several of their toys for my daughter. Their toys are decent quality and I like that they are made of woods and non toxic paints and materials. Normally I don’t like toys, games or anything of the sort that has a “poop” aspect of things because I find the concept disgusting as a toy. However, the way this one was done wasn’t done in a gross way so I felt okay about it. You feed the dog the treat and on the inside of the dog there is a twist shape that allows the treat to come out “poop” side up. The dog “walking” forward causes a mechanism inside to slide down which allows the toy to come out of the dog. It takes a little while though so you have to actually make the dog go for it to happen faster. You can fit all three treats inside the dog easily. The string for the dog seemed short at first but it is actually a great length for the targeted age range. My daughter really enjoys this toy. We have two dogs of our own so she likes that she can give this toydog a treat and clean up after it.

The wooden design feels sturdy, and it’s super easy for tiny hands to use. My toddler thinks it’s hilarious when the puppy "poops," and it keeps them entertained for ages. It’s also great for encouraging imaginative play and helping with coordination. Definitely a fun, unique toy that was an instant favorite in our house!
