They're aesthetically pleasing with a somewhat fluted design, but more than that the lip/edge is tapered nicely so it isn't as thick a most mugs and is therefore more comfortable to drink out of. I can't speak to the price or long term durability, but I forgot to wash one and it sat over night and came clean super easily the next day. I additionally appreciate that it's both microwave and dishwasher safe.

Also, some coffee cups aren't the right size. These are a perfect size! Some mugs are to big or to small. This Is big enough to have youre preferred amount, without being oversized or not enough.
