These bars, however, taste nothing like the crumbly bars I love, but rather, chalky styrofoam. I like that there's protein in these, but they were a complete miss for me.

I usually don’t eat protein bars because their texture and consistency can be a little chalky and the peanut butter flavor artificial tasting. The peanut butter flavor was good with a subtle chocolate taste. It tasted more like a granola bar than typical protein bar. They were good for a quick pick me up while on the go to sports games and easy to pack in my bag.

We got the dark chocolate and peanut butter flavor and the taste was excellent. The texture was spot on. We couldn't tell that it was a protein bar at all. Would recommend it 100%.

Packaging is consistent with the brand so you know it’s a company you can trust. I would definitely purchase these again. I just wish they were gluten-free and then my whole family could enjoy them.

Flavor and texture wise, it's like a block of creamy peanut butter with granola inside, quite different from your standard bar. Very peanut butter heavy, but the chocolate flavor really isn't present - would probably come through more if it was coated in chocolate. Wouldn't be able to tell it's a protein bar without the package saying it. I'd definitely recommend it and get it again.

However, my dad is a diabetic and needs to have a good snack to keep his blood sugar where it needs to be, and he took the rest of these. He said he likes they aren't too sweet and they have a good amount of protein. He absolutely loves these. He can carry them with him to his jobs and says they taste great. We are going to make sure he has these on hand.

The taste is not very sweet instead kind of dry obviously from the peanut butter but not in a bad way I do not feel like I’m eating a candy bar but a real peanut butter bar. The packaging is just like any other nature valley item in a box with foil wrappers.
