We wouldn’t recommend leaving it outside permanently, exposed to rain, or using it in very compact ground soil, as this can affect the probe and readings. For best results, insert the probe gently into the soil when checking moisture, then wipe it clean and store it indoors after use.

So helpful!

I'm not sure why this has so many bad reviews. Before using, you do have to open it, and remove the protective film around the battery in order for it to work. Perhaps some people didn't realize that. The red, green, and blue lights have all seemed to work well/appropriately for my plants. My kids love using it as well. It's helped get them interested in our houseplants. Overall-A great product for the price.

Bought one it would not calibrate. Returned, got another one. Instructions say do not hold while meter reading. Does not work unless you hold Will not turn off. Returning this one as well. Save your money and your time- do not purchase!

Does not work. Followed instructions on video and "user's manual" (which were slightly different) which are accessed by QR code, which seems needlessly complex. Unable to "calibrate." Customer service provided a replacement (after I sent them a video) and that does not work either.

Not good save your money

Don't even bother buying this. I'm a plant mom and i purchased this thinking this would help. i inserted this into one of my plants that i watered and it told me that my plant needed water. I'm returning this back today.
