Do not buy
I bought this and use it for the first time yesterday, and I am breaking out in the worst razor bumps I’ve ever gotten. It is so painful to walk. I have a very high tolerance of pain, and I’ve never had razor bumps this bad. I would not recommend this product. I’m having a really hard time healing the bumps. I bought this product to avoid this exact problem.

Doesn’t shave as close as my other lady brand razor but I know I won’t slip and cut myself which is good. It’ll be for travel and my back up razor.

Very worst experience
I used a Venus razor, and it caused severe blade cuts in many areas of my skin. I experienced strong irritation, itching, redness, and even bleeding in some places. This was my first time using this product, and I truly regret purchasing it. The quality is extremely poor and cannot be compared even with cheaper razors available in the market. It has been a day since I used it, and I am still suffering from pain and irritation. This product was very disappointing and unsafe for the skin. I don’t see an option to give a zero rating, so I am giving one star. Worst product I have ever purchased. I will never recommend this to anyone.

Great product
This worked really well for me. I have very sensitive skin, and nothing usually gives me a smooth shave—especially in delicate areas—but this did. I had no razor burn, no ingrown hairs, and it cut the hair really well. I used it both down below and on my underarms with great results. If you’re like me and have very sensitive skin, I highly recommend this shaver.

Disappointed
I purchased this razor as I needed a new one for general use and it looks nicer than the regular Venus razor handles. Unfortunately it was really uncomfortable to use as it is small and slippery. On top of that the handle is not compatible with other Venus razors and the way a razor clips on a handle does not affect or make better the shaving experience in the pubic area. This is just some weird social experiment type of thing and honestly I believe that the product should be called back and people should be compensated for their purchase.

Doesn’t fit the Venus handle
As many reviews previous have stated, it doesn’t fit the regular Venus handle and there is absolutely no indication of that anywhere on the packaging. Unfortunately you aren’t able to discover that they don’t fit until you’ve already opened them and thus can’t return them. Probably won’t buy the new handle to try them out because it’s just a disappointing experience considering that the blades and the handles are both expensive to begin with.

Super smooth perfection
These blades are the very best for bikini area! I run the backside first, then go over with the front part, against the direction of growth. No ingrown hairs and ultra smooth. No, these do not fit on the typical Venus handle, the one that’s interchangeable with Mach3. That’s okay. It’s well worth for the bikini to have its own dedicated razor.

VERY happy with purchase - best bikini shave ever
Bought this 2 weeks ago and SO glad I didn’t read some of the reviews before purchasing. And I’m also glad I read reviews before using! Not sure I would’ve realized there are two sides. Anyway, this razor is hands down the BEST I’ve ever used for bikini area. The initial hair removal is comparable to waxing - super smooth, zero stubble. Of course it doesn’t last like waxing, but I also don’t have to let the fur grow back, which is my biggest gripe on waxing. Also- I have not yet had a single ingrown hair so far. I can’t even say that about waxing - they are inevitable. But so far, nothing, knock on wood.

I bought these refills expecting them to fit on my regular Venus razor. It’s very frustrating that they do not, all the others do, and it’s not written on the box otherwise.

Got the blades but wont fit on Venus Razors.
Saw these on sale, and read the package no where it says you need a different razor. So I safely assumed it would fit my Gillette Venus razor. They didnt sell the razor by itself, just only the blades. Get home and it doesn’t fit on any of my razors. Can’t return it since I opened the box. Very frustrating, to only read up on the reviews here complaining the same problem.

Gentle, smooth, and easy.
Best shave ive ever had. Paired with the dove body scrub and billie shave cream. I have super sensitive skin and eczema. Along with that, I have thick and textured pubic hair. I didn’t get any nicks or cuts or razor burn. It didn’t burn when I put on my post shave products, and It didn’t burn to go against the grain either! It has a smaller head, making it great for the small and hard to reach places. I also struggle with shaving my skins. I always get cut there. No matter what I do. But with this razor??? No cuts!! Definitely recommend this razor!! Better than any other razor ive tried!

wrong information on box of cartridges
I bought the refill cartridges for this item, and nowhere on the box does it state that the cartridges for this item attach to a completely different type of handle than all the rest of the Gillette Venus razors. The box just says it is a cartridge for pubic hair and skin and contains 4 cartridges, it doesn't even state that the cartridges are for a specific razor type. The box is opaque and there is not even a visual of what the attachment looks like. All the other razor types are interchangeable with the same handle, so I do not think it was unreasonable to think these cartridges would work with it, since the box just says it is a Gillette Venus cartridge for pubic hair and skin. So, I could not use it, because it did not attach to my handle.
