wrong screws, nice stool
I like the stool a lot, even though the color doesn't match the drawing desk, and two of the included screws in the package were wrongly a different size than the others, rendering them useless, which was annoying. otherwise I like the stool. it's cute, it swivels, it's sturdy (once I'm able to properly attach it with the correct screws), and i would buy it again.

Repeated Cracked Wooden Seats
I'd been on the lookout for an adjustable stool that I could use with my easel during longer painting sessions. This stool is really cute, and with the sale price I purchased it at, it would have been a good deal compared to similar stools found elsewhere. It's not the cleanest finished metal because it isn't uniform, but it's not terribly noticeable once assembled. When you assemble it, make sure you don't fully tighten the legs in the first step before you attach the ring. It's a pain to get the ring on if the legs are already tightened because the holes for the bolts won't align well. Also, be aware that the first few times you adjust the height of the stool, it will leave a black powder on your floor. It's easily vacuumed up, though. All of this to say, the first one I received had two, two-inch long cracks in the wooden seat (one on top and one on the bottom). We decided to try to get a replacement, and after a bit of finagling on the phone with a customer service rep, they agreed to send a replacement. The second one came with even worse cracks in the seat, which we can't do anything about. Target won't replace the replacement (we were hoping to return it for an exchange), but you can only do it once, so we were out of luck, especially since the stool was back to regular price. So, it's a nice stool, if you get one that isn't defective. However, I'm guessing that a lot of the seats will have this issue.

Sturdy, good price and It works for me
Happy with this item. Got it on sale during President’s day weekend. Easy to put together myself. Bought it for a secretary desk I already own that requires a chair with a higher than typical seat height (23”). Feels sturdy when assembled. Contoured seat is comfortable to sit on. Feet have adjustable height nylon pads, which is a nice touch if your floors are uneven. I wasn’t expecting a perfect match for the wood finish, but it doesn’t look too bad at all. My one suggestion is: the holes for the screws on the legs where the ring attaches should be a little deeper to accommodate the counter-sink screws. As it stands now, the screw heads stick out a bit. But it’s not a deal breaker considering the price and quick delivery. Also the seat had a small ding in it but you have to really look for it. Maybe a little more padding in the box out of the factory would have prevented that.

Wood color does not match table!!!
Seems sturdy, but I’m super annoyed the wood stain is way darker than the drafting table it is meant to coordinate with. There was also a small nick in the corner of the wooden seat. It’s not worth it for me to disassemble and try another one. I would say Meh, just ok. Would not recommend for the cost.
