Reformulated
Please beware to anyone buying they reformulated their wipes without anyone realizing it and they have now added Tetrasodium EDTA which is toxic. Both their organic cotton wipes and these now have it added.

Hi there, we recently updated our wipes formula as part of our commitment to higher standards for safety and ingredient transparency, and we appreciate you taking a close look. Our wipes were recently reformulated to meet EWG Verified® standards one of the most rigorous benchmarks for ingredient safety and transparency in personal care. The updated formula includes a small amount of Tetrasodium EDTA. Tetrasodium EDTA is a widely used ingredient that helps maintain product stability and quality over time. It has been extensively reviewed by independent safety organizations, including the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel, and is considered safe for use in cosmetic products. EWG also rates it as low risk across key health categories. At the level used in our wipes (~0.05%), exposure is minimal and well below tested, established safety standards. Every ingredient in our formula is carefully selected to meet high standards for both safety and performance, and we stand behind the integrity of the product we’ve created. If you have questions about why an ingredient is included or how it works, we encourage you to reach out to us at support@parasolco.com. Our team is always here to help!

INGREDIENTS CHANGE!
Target.com has failed to update these wipes ingredients that have recently changed. They no longer are the reverse osmosis water…etc list. It’s something totally different and added chemicals that now make them comparable to honests’ recent change. No longer trust them.

Hi Allie, Thanks for sharing your feedback. As part of the EWG Verified® certification, we made thoughtful refinements to ensure every ingredient meets the highest standards for cleanliness and safety. Our wipes use EDI (electrodeionized) water, an ultra-purified process that goes beyond traditional reverse osmosis to remove even trace impurities and make it especially gentle for sensitive skin. Parasol Pure water wipes remain free from chlorine, parabens, alcohol, phthalates, fragrance, and other harsh chemicals. If you’d like to talk through the ingredient list, feel free to reach out to us at support@parasolco.com and we’d be happy to connect.

Water Wipes
Awesome wipe, no reactions to them and they clean up well. We use for hands and face clean up as well and we deal with sensitive skin with no issues.

Great Wipes!
I love these wipes! So clean from chemicals and our boy has no reaction to them when we did notice some irritation with a different brand (that is not purchased from your local store) but yet he did have a reaction. We’re very happy to use both Parasol diapers and wipes!

So hard to get a wipe out!
During an extremely dirty diaper, I was holding my squirming toddler with one hand and trying to feriously pinch one dang wipe out of this pack! I gave up and grabbed a different pack of wipes. Why are these so hard to get out? I love the brand and appreciate the better ingredients but these wipes are not great. I'm glad I only bought one pack to try, because I threw them away after that. Multiple times I had trouble getting a wipe out. These wipes are on the rougher side, and made my baby's bum red after using them for two days. I would recommend avoiding these for sensitive skin and if you like wipes that are easy to get out with one hand.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. We completely understand how important it is to be able to grab a wipe easily, especially during quick changes. While our 100% plant-based Pure Water Wipes are designed to dispense one at a time, we’d love to take a closer look at your specific order and assist you directly. Please reach out to our team at support@parasolco.com so we can review and provide further support.

We like the wipes themselves - the ingredients, the size, and the thickness. They aren’t our #1s but we like them. What really knocks these down to three stars is the fact that the wipes don’t dispense consecutively. When you pull a wipe out, the next doesn’t follow - So you end up fishing around in the packet to grab another wipe while your baby is screaming bloody murder.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, Brighid. We’re glad to hear the wipes have been a good fit overall in terms of ingredients, size, and thickness. Our wipes are designed to dispense one at a time. We would like to take a closer look at your package and better understand what happened. Formula recently changed and "greenwashed" not for the better
I am super sensitive and recently discovered I am allergic to Fragrance, Benzyl alcohols, Benzoic acids, and all derivatives which includes Sodium Benzoate... it is VERY hard to find a wipe without Sodium Benzoate! When I saw Parasol had none, good ingredients and was a decent ph, it became our go to for almost a year for and we were very grateful until now... It went through one ingredient change which was relatively minor (spunlace to 60 GSM), but now? I noticed it now has an EWG label, which you would think is good, but it is not. Old/good formula is pictured on left, new is on the right... Foremost, why would you stop using reverse osmosis water? Then you add things like that cause sensitivitiy like Dipropylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin and especially Hydroxyacetophenone?!! You cannot say you are "free from sodium benzoate" when Hydroxyacetophenone is derived from a benzene ring which is what benzoates come from!!! Did you do any research?! Hydroxyactophenone CANNOT be used by anyone with a Sodium Benzoate allergy!! Thank God i saw the new EWG label and saw the change because you would've sent me right to urgent care. I'm now doing my best to track down and stock up on the old formula though I may stop giving you money and praying I just can find something to replace your now toxic wipes. Not sure how EWG confirmed this as certified, but they also certify things that contain lead like sunscreen so I've now lost my trust even more in them as well. Go back to your original formula...$top changing thing$ that don't need to be changed $$$ :-( . I included the picture, but for the record, the old formula was: ~Reverse osmosis water, glycerin, potassium sorbate, aloe leaf extract, citric acid, alky polyglucoside ~new EWG cert hard to pronounce toxic wipes: Water, Dipropylene glycol, Hydroxyacetophenone, caprylyl glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Aloe vera extract, citric acid, tetrasodium EDTA super disappointed

Thank you for sharing your experience and concern with us. Our wipes use EDI (electrodeionized) water, which is an ultra-purified form of water that meets and exceeds reverse osmosis standards. Regarding the updated formula, all ingredients, including Hydroxyacetophenone; are widely recognized as safe, non-benzene, and non-benzoate preservatives used at very low, gentle levels to maintain product freshness. That said, we understand sensitivities can be very personal, and we truly appreciate your feedback. We’ll be sure to share this with our product team as we continue to improve.

Bring back the old thick wipes
Bring back the old thick wipes!! These new ones are so flimsy, rough and get stuck together constantly and not worth the price
1 reply from Parasol Co Team team - 1 month ago
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our wipes are made with a 100% plant-based, plastic-free cloth and are designed with an embossed texture for strength and absorbency, and maintain the same 60 GSM thickness as our previous wipes for durability. We’d love to know more about your experience. Please reach out to us at support@parasolco.com.

Formulation changed?
I initially bought these wipes because I thought their ingredients looked clean and promising, or at least what is written on their website. I bought and subscribed to the 600 wipes pack, only to find out that the ingredient list is completely different on the actual wipes. Also there is now a weird smell to them that I didn't notice before. I don't know if and when they changed the formulation to the water wipes, but something changed. Now I'm stuck with so many packs that I don't wanna use.
