Fast way to get some protein!

My son just ate it plain. He said it was yummy the first time he ate it. I heated it up in the microwave for 30 second the second time and it had a weird smell. My husband also liked it.

Great concept, but too dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that there are minimal ingredients, minimal processing, individual bags for easy portions. I just wasn’t a fan of the taste. It’s hard to make grilled chicken not taste dry, and this tasted exactly like I made it on the grill, but not in a good way. It warmed up nicely, but still tasted dry. If I’m buying precooked chicken, I want to know it won’t be dry, otherwise I may as well cook it since I know I tend to overcook.

It had the look and texture of chicken I just cooked. Although it was light on flavor, this also makes it the perfect protein blank slate for so many recipes. I enjoyed it as a quick chicken salad sandwich, but I’ll also be adding it to my kit salads from the grocery store, to pre-made soups, and will dip in hummus as a snack. Very yummy and versatile!

I love the charred flavor and texture; they are fresh and tender. The small individual portions are perfect for packing in a lunch box for work! Packaging was easy to open. I did add some extra seasoning to mine, so if you like heavy seasoning be aware that these are not flavored very much. But the great news is you can add your own to make them perfect!

It’s not dry at all - it’s actually tasty, has a chargrilled flavor, comes in big chunks of chicken, smells good, is fully cooked and I can toss directly into my salad whether I’m working from home or going into the office. The chicken has a grilled flavor, is diced and comes in 3oz individual packages. Additionally, I didn’t come across any chewy pieces, which I have a strong aversion to. I work from home and these packages are perfect to make lunches with during the week. Will definitely be purchasing this again.
