The Best "Wicked: For Good" Vinyl Variant
If you’re collecting both Wicked vinyl soundtracks, odds are your copy for the first film has the album artwork where Glinda and Elphaba are reaching towards one another. Republic/Verve used that poster as the general release album artwork, including Target’s exclusive variant of the first album. For the sequel, they went off script and gave the soundtrack its own artwork. Target’s is the only version that uses “For Good”’s poster that mirrors that same theme. For that reason, this was easily the only choice for me when choosing between the various retailer exclusives. Beyond that, it’s a beautifully designed album. The disc sleeves can be put together to create a map of Oz, and I love the marbled colors in the discs themselves. The interior also mirrors the first vinyl’s aesthetic, with a layout of the same characters in their looks from the second film. As for the lenticular “cover,” thank goodness it’s not attached to the cover. It doesn’t really “work” in the sense that it simply creates a bit of parallax in the image and the size makes it hard to line up one image at a time.

I really like the music on it and it plays good on my turntable but I had a little bit of a hard time getting side C/D out of the sleve but other than that it's good.

Wrong Item filled.
I ordered the Vinyl album but when I got my order, it was the CD. I walked to the record department and the salesman gave me the vinyl which I ordered for 49.99. He saw my order confirmation and gave me the vinyl record. I then met with the manager so she would approve the switch. Very inconvenient as my order did read “Vinyl”; however, the staff was very accommodating.
