[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this toy is specifically for older children, our 2 yr old son LOVES this dj set. He loves watching the lights and playing the keys. His favorite is the spinner. It was a hit for both him and dad. You could connect your devices via bluetooth and record your own mixes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been playing around with this VTech DJ Mixer and my kids are having a blast. My 7 year old swears he is the next up and coming rapper, so he has been having the time of his life trying to make beats for himself. I love that it has Bluetooth and you are able to link your phone to mix over your favorite songs. It comes supplied with batteries for power, but it also has the option to use a power cord which I really like, but that is sold separately so that’s unfortunate. I also, REALLY wish the keyboard had its own individual volume control because it is much louder than everything else. It does have a headphone jack for when I want some quiet time, because they don’t know what that means. 😂 There is also a slight delay when you are recording your voice, so it will never match up perfectly with the beat. Something small, but the little light on the top is technically adjustable, but it doesn’t lock into any position so it will just slowly move to facing straight backwards. Overall though, it’s super cute, and the kids have a blast with it! At the end of the day, this is a kids toy, not a professional piece of music equipment, so nothing that I would change is something that even bothered my kids. And for me, my kid’s options are the most important.

This toy has 15 songs, 5 keyboard styles, 1000s of combos, design loops, music games, recording, bluetooth, and head phone jack. It has everything you could possibly need. It is a solid toy, very good quality. It's our favorite toy from vtech this far. The little disco light gives it a whole new vibe. The kids like shutting off the lights and jamming out to the music they made. The sound quality is pretty good. Much better than expected. The one thing I would add is more customizable songs, but still 100% worth every penny.

It is pretty heavy and the lights are quite blinding. I do wonder if its appropriate for 5years and up. Overall pretty nice. The only thing it is missing is that if it comes with an adapter. It doesnt come with it so its all battery operated for now.

I really like this it gives kids a chance to make their own mixes instead of just listening to songs and has lots of effect and loops a keyboard sound grid scratch pad, microphone and lights kids can even connect their own music with Bluetooth and create new mixes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are loving this DJ Mixer from VTech! They quickly figured out how to access songs, a wide variety of different sounds sounds and beats. They love to scratch records. They've been able to layer sounds and actually come up with something that sounds pretty cool. It's also really nice that it's portable. The built in handles on the back make it easy to carry to a different room when they need a quiet space to use or when parents are done listening to it.

Perfect gift for my eight year old son. Lots of different sounds and options to keep him busy making music.

I purchased for my 8 year old grandchild, and they love it. It's easy to use and provides for her to be as creative as she desires; so many options of tracks available, and music sounds. Inspired her to take a greater interest in music.

It has lots of fun features, different sounds and lights, and you can create your own little mixes. I’m not sure yet how long the batteries will last since it doesn’t seem to have a rechargeable option, but overall we are happy with it. Such a fun entertaining toy (even for adults 😅)!
