Very difficult to navigate
I was excited for this product. If it actually delivered on what it claimed, this would have been an awesome product. But it’s very hard to operate even for an adult. My kids were obviously frustrated since more than half their energy went into getting the system to respond to our gestures.

Just Doesn't Work Well
Easy to set up and great game ideas/educational activities, but it’s actually very frustrating for kids since the sensor isn’t very accurate. We made sure the room was well lit and no distracting background but it still didn’t help. My kids are 3 and 5 years old. Returning since my kids never want to play it. Putting the money towards a Nex Playground game console instead.

Just having a little trouble with movements, i know it tells you to stat in one spot but my girls are 4 and 5 and move all over the place and it just does not stay with the movement and yes i have tried repositioning the camera. I really wanted to like this, but complete crap
I returned it. It was extremely frustrating for a 5 year old with coordination issues. It was also really bad at “finding” my son/myself because we have our tv in front of our couch (like most people) and this device prefers a more simple background to work properly.

Fun, Educational, and Keeps kids Active

It’s fun, educational, and encourages movement while teaching listening skills. I just wish there were a few more activity options, but overall it’s a great, portable, and engaging toy for active little ones. I really appreciate how safe and sturdy it feels. The base is stable and doesn’t tip easily, and there are no sharp edges or small parts to worry about. It’s also lightweight and easy to move from room to room, which makes it great for playtime anywhere in the house.

Fun and easy to install
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The LeapFrog LeapMove has been a huge success at our home, both my girls are enjoying to play the games and learn at the same time. It is very easy to install it and start using. They have fun playing games where they are the main character, we found it very cool as it uses the camera to show them inside the game. My 4 year old loves specially the dragon game, where she can flap her arms as it’s the dragon wings to control it and go through the game. We received this great product free from Influenster for test purposes and highly recommend it.

Big hit with 6 year old nephew!

It’s such a fun way to get him up and active — he starts jumping and dancing right away. I love that it combines movement with learning, so he’s not just burning energy but also practicing listening and coordination. Easy to set up
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The LeapFrog LeapMove is innovative and a great way to engage the family. This game/device is designed for kids 7+ but my 2.5 year old was still able to participate. It's easy to set up (plug in, turn the camera on and follow instructions). We were able to play within 5 minutes of starting to set it up. The camera that detects your movement is sensitive and can be adjusted up or down manually. I found it a little tricky to move the cursor with my hands in the game but I think it was more due to my height than anything. So if you're having trouble, adjust the angle and distance. I found it helpful to put a piece of tape on the floor for my family to stand on so that we knew how close to be to the camera when playing. It made it so much easier to stay in the frame! While only one person can play at a time, my 2.5 year old jumped into the game with us and had no problem! It is a little tricky to play but older kids won't have a problem. This is a great alternative to watching tv and is engaging, interactive and entertaining. It's a win in our house!

We did have an issue with the sensors picking up my 5 year old which made it frustrating for her. She did enjoy the game choices and once she got the hang of it loves it!

The LeapStart system and My Pal Scout have been game changers for early learning. My child picked up new words quickly and actually looks forward to reading time. The interactive features are intuitive and engaging without being overstimulating. The only downside is the camera 📷 is a bit blurry. But the educational value of the toys more than makes up for it. I’d definitely recommend LeapFrog to any parent looking to boost their child’s literacy and vocabulary in a fun way.
