[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made meatball sandwiches for dinner tonight using Mama Mancini's meatballs and they were really good. It was a super easy meal ready in less than 10 minutes. I just microwaved the meatballs for 5 minutes as the directions said and then put them on a hoagie bun with some mozzarella cheese and threw it in the toaster oven for 2 minutes to melt the cheese. The meatballs were juicy without being greasy and they have the same texture as homemade meatballs. The sauce they come in has great flavor too. I really enjoyed these

Best part is the sauce did not give me acid reflux and that’s the most important part for anything red sauce. This paired perfectly with protein spaghetti.

I was a little disappointed in that there were only 5 meatballs in the package, which was a let down when there are three of us in the family. But I managed to cut them up and they made decent meatball subs. They were fine, no real complaints, but I am not likely to rush out and buy these unless they are in sale.

I dumped it into my pot and was disappointed with the amount of sauce and meatballs. The serving size said 5 and you get 5 large meatballs—I thought it would go farther as a dinner until I opened it. So it isn’t a one and done for a family- you need to use it as a base for the rest of dinner. I did the recommended stovetop prep and after following directions exactly it came out hot and ready to use. I added pasta and fresh basil. The sauce is a fine base but could use some help—it’s okay, just very basic. But I actually really liked the meatballs. And my kids had no complaints. I also love that I recognize all of the ingredients.

No aftertaste or acidity issues for me. Meatballs texture is good! Not too sweet. This is easy to cook on the stovetop, its just warming it up, so its a nice and easy meal after a long day. However, there are only 5 meatballs. I feel the portion of meatballs should be bigger.
