Q: This stand is advertised as "swivel". I am assembling it and I do not see how it can swivel. It doesn't turn at all

A: Hi, Thank you for your message. This TV stand does have a swivel feature, but the swivel occurs at the TV mounting bracket (the upper mount where the TV attaches), not at the base. The base itself stays fixed for stability. Once the TV is mounted, you should be able to gently rotate the TV left or right up to about ±40° by turning the screen itself. If the screen does not turn at all, please check: The two mounting brackets behind the TV are not overtightened. The TV is fully mounted on the swivel plate. Try holding the top corners of the TV and gently rotating it left or right. If it still cannot swivel after these checks, please let us know and we will be happy to assist further.

Q: The back of my tv is not flat. Can it fit the bump out at the base of my tv?

A: Hi, Yes, it may still fit. The stand mounts to the VESA holes on the back of the TV, so even if the back of your TV has a bump or uneven area, it can often still be installed as long as the mounting holes are accessible. Spacers can also be used to create extra clearance if needed. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
