The main differences between this TV and the 50BA are that this model has higher audio and picture quality, and a different design with a slimmer frame. This TV also offers an additional HDMI port (four in total), a composite input, and headphone input. Most notably, this Select Series model also includes an Ambient Light Sensor (ALS), which automatically adjusts brightness based on room lighting, a feature the 50BA model does not have.
