[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary Hunter Astwood Ceiling Fan for review purposes. I love the grey finish of the blades and the matte black on the metal. I think the clear glass of the globe with use of Edison style bulbs makes it even more impressive. This is a beautiful ceiling fan and fits well with my decor. Our living area and dining room are one big, open flowing space. The fan was perfect for this area. My husband was able to install easily with a little of my help. It is quiet and really helps to cool. Love the light output too. Overall I think this fan is beautiful and I absolutely adore in my downstairs space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew a ceiling fan could add so much to a room before installing the Hunter Astwood one. The fan and light adds so much feeling to the room. What was surprising was the amount of light the lights emits. It feels like it lights up more of the room with less shadows then the one we used before. The fan blows a soft breeze on low and on high will definitely cool you down. It's also super quiet! Nothing rattles or shakes even on the highest setting. Amazing. The assembly was fairly straight forward especially using the directions. We swapped our old fan out and easily hooked this one up. Everything was very clearly labeled and had separate bags for each part. The box even came with Edison style bulbs that go perfectly with the fan. The whole thing looks and feels very high quality. Again I love this game and highly recommend it.

I really love this fan in our office and in our boys room! It’s the perfect piece. It wasn’t too bad to install. Would recommend it. We have gotten lots of compliments on them already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to replace a fan that came with our house that had a bowl covering the lights, aka a bug trap. This open shade solved that. And after getting it installed, we love it! The rustic wood blades, Edison bulbs, and clear glass shade all make this fan look like a step up from your run of the mill builders grade fan. Now for the installation. Ceilings just suck to put up in general. They have come a long way though and this one wasn’t too bad. The bracket to hang it on while connecting wires is a shoulder saver. I tried to hook this one into the previous fans remote adapter, but that didn’t work, so I had to do the whole thing over. Don’t do that! The only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars, is the blade attachment. There is no stop/groove for the blade to fit in aligned with the holes. That part of the fan spins, it’s at an angle, and you have two hands to hold the blade, the fan, and screw in the screw. I miss aligned one and broke the screw head off. Don’t do that either! It seems like it would be easy enough to put in a little groove or contoured stop so that the blade only went in one way and easily aligned with the screw holes. Other than that, this fan is great! Great addition to our home!

The Hunter Ashwood fan is so absolutely quiet though! I can't even hear it when I am trying to. Box included everything needed for my husband to install it, even a couple different length poles and plenty of wiring. Beautiful addition to our master bedroom! I love the unique bulbs (and bonus that they are included!). Great product!

The instructions were very detailed and my friend and I (not very mechanically inclined either) were able to put it together and get it installed fairly quickly. I upgraded from a old ceiling fan, and I am loving the look of the led lights! This fan comes with 4 blades and a light fixture with 3 bulbs. The blades are a washed gray and all the metal is nickel. This fan is super quiet and doesn't make a breeze, but somehow still creates air circulation. I love this fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Astwood ceiling fan from Hunter is gorgeous. This ceiling fan was very easy to assemble. It gave us no issues when putting it together. It came with instructions that were clear and was easy to understand. Installing it was a breeze and was stress free. I was honestly nervous to put it together and install as it was my first attempt on doing a ceiling fan. Once put together I was impressed with it's sturdiness and quality. It is a very well made fan. I really loved the chandelier look of it. I feel t really helped pull together my simple kitchen. This ceiling fan would look great in any style of room. I have already gotten compliments from family on it. The fan is surprisingly quite. I could barely hear it running. I was very surprised by how well it works. It does great job of moving the air through the room. It helped quite a bit with keeping the room cool which is always a need in my kitchen.. The chain attached to the fan makes it easy to switch the lights and speed of the fan. It is a good length. The lights are LED and very bright. Which is a plus because I hate dark rooms. The lights have a glass cage that is around them. Cleaning the ceiling fan is easy which is always nice. The cage around the bulbs has plenty of room when it comes to cleaning. Overall, I am very impressed with this ceiling fan. It works well, sturdy, looks great, and gives on great lighting. I would definitely recommend this ceiling fan to everyone.

The blades are bleached pine grey and nickel finished. It has clear glass to see the lights. It's high speed cooling and it really does cool the room down quickly and it matches my bedroom hardwood grey floor perfectly.

This took my husband and I about thirty minutes to assemble and replace our old fan. The instructions were very easy to follow. I really like the weights that you can attach to balance out any unevenness. The light bulbs are very classic, but very bright. I couldn’t believe how much brighter our room was! This fan will be very easy to clean since it only has four blades, and the dome is big enough to get a duster in between. I can’t get enough of this fan!

Lately it’s been hot the last couple days and would have a hard time sleeping with the hot weather. I would turn on my regular fan but wouldn’t help much. Pros:Whisper Wind motor also reversible motor allows to change the direction of the fan for when the weather changes and you want that heat pushing down.It also has high speed cooling.Three position mounting.
