Trust me
I have gastritis and I’m newly diagnosed so it flares periodically. I suffered for a whole week eating bland foods, waking up constantly in pain through the night, and continuing even through the day. Before this, i was taking a combination of Tums and an Up&Up brand Famotidine Max Strength 20mg and it did NOTHING. My brother has extreme acid reflux so i asked him after his years of trial and error with products, what he found best. I took one of these this morning and I’ve had NO pain through the whole day. I finally felt normal again. I see these other comments about the “flavor” of the berry that made them nauseous. But is the 10 seconds of “berry flavor” really worth the comfort quality you can have the rest of the day?

Made myself much sicker taking this...
I used these daily for years for my frequent heartburn before realizing they were making me sicker. MUCH sicker. This medicine has artificial sweeteners which caused horrible lower GI upset for me. I never realized it because I made the mistake of assuming it was basically the same as the name brand Pepcid. Now that I’m back to taking the name brand stuff, my heartburn is far less frequent and less severe when I do have it. I can’t believe I was making myself sick for so long, just to try and save some money. I know it won’t necessarily affect others the same way, but if you’re experiencing severe heartburn and/or diarrhea symptoms, just try the name brand stuff for a while and see if anything changes!

Famotidine Chew Tablets: The Heartburn Solution I Needed!
I recently tried Famotidine 10mg Dual-Action Acid Controller Chew Tablets in the berry flavor from up & up, and I must say, I don't understand the critical reviews. Although I haven't used Pepcid before, these tablets were a lifesaver for my horrible heartburn. Even after trying TUMS all day with no relief, these chew tablets almost instantly stopped my heartburn and kept it away. The taste is fine, and most importantly, this product really works! Highly recommended for heartburn relief.

I thought tums had a bad aftertaste, but this is SO MUCH WORSE. It's half the price of pepcid but it's so disgusting that in the future I won't mind paying double. I don't know what poop tastes like, but it's probably this.
