Unfortunately I had the same side effect many others did. Finally realized what was causing the diarrhea I bought this to combat after eating dairy. Also caused severe nausea for me. I’d be better off just chancing it with the dairy

terrible supplier change
New packaging and appears to be new supplier (Time Cap Labs) has now made this product terrible and useless. Took me weeks to figure out why I never felt good. I couldn't take the name brand of lactase due to causing stomach discomfort. Ever since the change of this I'm getting the same issues as the name brand. Never had any issues prior to the packaging change. Off to finding a new product again that actually works. Please bring the old supplier back. This was one of the main reasons I still shopped at target.

Stay away.
Made me vomit and gave me severe cramping after taking the supplement before drinking dairy. I was better off just eating the dairy without the pill, I’ve never experienced such strong reactions with dairy alone. I’d stay clear of these pills and stick to on-brand variants.

I tried the name brand along with the Up and Up brand. There was no difference and now I’m saving money. I have dairy every day and these tablets allow me to enjoy it without any side effects.

Basically a chalk pill now - what brand is best now that this is garbage?
Used these forover a decade and they always worked as expected and great at the best price point. The packaging change was more than a packaging change and seems to be a manufacturing change. Now they are nonfunctional. I want to return all the ones they sent me of this new kind, so much wasted money and time. Took reviews for me to figure out what was going on. I can't believe they are even selling whatever this replacement it. The old one in the white box was 5 stars, simple normal, did what it should. Whatever they have now is junk, doesn't work, even more expensive 0 stars. Need to find a replacement- are any other brands using target's old manufacturer?

New manufacturer (notice the inner package now looks like Kirkland which consumer reports tested at the worst generic lactaid), now does not work. The previous manufacturer was fantastic, but now they do not work.

Stomach pain!
It doesn’t work for me very well. I took two lactase enzyme pills then ate dairy foods and went to rush to the bathroom and never buy Lactaid and any store brand lactase enzyme pills again! I respect the positive reviews who said it worked for them but not for everyone who are lactose intolerants. It worked for some people. I guess I’m going to back on a lactose free diet again!

So, I love cheese and milk. Pizza, ice cream, bean & cheese burrito, pizza, milkshake, pizza. Thing is, milk doesn’t like me. So, I take these pills. And it helps. More often than not, I’m good to go. Every now and then it doesn’t work. Then I’m on the throne in agony. But usually it works. And I love me some pizza. Good stuff!👍
