  • A: The length from the floor to the top of the frame is 9-3/4". Then you add the mattress height to that since all mattresses are different.

  • A: It does slide around a couple inches but only if I lean against it. There aren't any railings so some movement is expected. I sleep alone so I can't answer for a couple situation.

Q: Is there a bracket that fits this bed so that I can attach a headboard? I have a king headboard that I used on my old bed frame but it will not work on this bed.

  • A: Hello Sam, this frame does not require headboard brackets. Normally whe a headboard is purchased, it will come with the bolts to attach to a frame.

Q: Will the King size frame work well with 2 twin XLs together? I know the 2 twin Xls = a King, but wonder if that is practical with this particular frame.

    Mattress covers platform completely.

    Very good value. Very sturdy. No squeaks. And my twin mattress covered the whole platform so there are no hard sides bugging you when you are sitting on edge of bed. Also, you could mount an intreresting headboard if you like because this is such a visually quiet platform base. Comes with a great little ratchet Allen wrench so assembly was easy and quick.

    only 1 star because of the defective support pole that came with the recently purchased frame and communicating with Zinus customer service for 5 days but they still have not resolved the problem. customer service is very unprofessional and responses are not received in a timely manner. the most recent correspondence said the receipt i submitted to them is not valid, however it is the only proof of purchase i received from target. the company is very difficult to deal with and i would not recommend zinus products to anyone.
