It has a slightly rough texture once it’s washed but may soften over time. The shams add a nice finishing touch to complete the ensemble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Duvet seems to be made of good quality material. It is a little rough to the touch. Hopefully over time it will soften more after it has been through a few washes. I would recommend this item. Super cute. Washed it and put it on comforter. It's not quite as soft as I would want it to be but it will work on guest bed in our vacation rental. I think it will hold up well to multiple washings

I love the crisp feel of the duvet. My son loves the plaid pattern for his room. We’ve had an Eddie Bauer duvet cover for my son’s room for about 5 years and it has held up great! The quality of this one seems less than that of the old one- this duvet cover has slimmer, less sturdy seam stitching and it is also missing the corner ties! I’ve never had a duvet cover without ties to hold the duvet in place

Fabric is thinner than I anticipated, I was very disappointed when I discovered that there were tears in the fabric just 3 weeks after receiving the cover. I know we are hard on things, but this should have lasted longer for the price.
