Blister packs are terrible
I have been an avid user of Imodium for many, many years. It was always convenient when this product came it a bottle, however the blister packs are terrible. Extremely difficult to open and I just found that it’s now coming in a liquid form which is better however a bottle for the tablets would also be preferred as well.

Works great but scissors required for use.
Product works great if you have a scissors to open. Just spent 30 in bathroom, 15 trying to open and 10 to find scissors. Ran back in bathroom without pills spent another 20 in bathroom 5 looking for pills I sat down while looking for scissors. An hour and a half later I finally swallowed pills.

Packaging
I carry Imodium every where I go. However, when I buy Imodium the first thing I do is take a pair of scissors and cut an opening on one side of the pill. Then I put them in my purse or medicine cabinet. I cannot open the pills without a sharp something to first cut through the foil and plastic. Can I PLEASE buy them in a bottle? Then I'll just transfer them to my purse pill container.

It’s from a pharm company I don’t like how you have to individually cut out each pill or jell cap

Easy to open
The paging is easy to open. You fold back on the corner where it shows then pull back lightly. The pills help me when I am on a trip and don't want to miss my flight do to me needing to use the bathroom constantly

Hard to get yo
These work incredibly well. However, I am not strong enough to push the capsules through. So. I have to get out the scissors and then pry the capsules our of the container. This is a huge hasdle and takes a lof of time. Not hoid when youre really needing them. I travel a lot so the luquid in the bottle is not useful. Why can't you put these in a bottle?

Worst diarrhea ever
After sitting in one of two porta potties at a wedding with severe diarrhea and vomiting and sweating so bad and I couldn’t tear open my packets of Imodium and I was stuck in there so other people couldn’t use it. Finally people came looking for me and found me. I told them I couldn’t get my Imodium open so they had to find someone with a scissor to open it. Luckily one of my aunts had one so I finally got to take them. For a product like this that people need in a hurry, the packaging is the worst it could be!! I have learned to cut some out and put them in an empty bottle so I will never have this happen again.

Hack: opening Imodium blister packs
Hack: opening Imodium blister packs Instead of trying to peel back the paper on an Imodium soft gel capsule blister package, use a pointed instrument (point of scissors, tip of knife blade, tine of a dinner fork) to poke a hole in the paper seal on each side of the gel, then pry up the paper between those two holes. Then holding the blister pack, turn it over and push down on the clear plastic so the Imodium capsule drops out.

Terrible packaging
I have used this product for almost five years. While the product itself works effectively, the packaging is horrible! Every time I open the package, it will either break my finger nails or I will get a cut on my finger. Last year, while visiting Canada, I bought a package there and it is effortless to open it! Simply use one finger to push down the soft gel and it will come out easily. I attached two photos: the one on the right is what I bought in Canada. Why the packages in the US are so awful to open?! There are so many customers already commented about the difficulties of opening the package for many years but no improvement! Please do something about the package to make our life easier!

Too difficult to open. Does work good
I get so frustrated. Worked 15 minutes to get an Imodium open. In the process of opening it I lost it it because it popped off bar and can’t find it so a child may be able to find it and put it in their mouth so so much for child safety. This is ridiculous.

Great features
I am so excited to see that this comes in softgels now. I have been using the caplets for years and haven’t had trouble with them, but the softgels are so much easier to take. They are so much easier to swallow. Thank you for a great product.

If you need to take this product. Than you don't need a package harder to get in then Ft.Knox. Especially with the type of medication this is. You don't have the time.

Good med. Wish I could open the packages to use it
Shame on you imodium & every generic as well. You say we shouldn’t be having trouble opening the packages. You KNOW we are. I have to use a curved sharp grapefruit knife. The FDA just requires single dose packages. There are plenty of meds in blister packs that are openable. Yours are not in that category.

Bubble opens?
Using box cuter, knife and scissors to open, this is a disaster. If you do as instructed and bend the corner back, it breaks off. If you live through cuts and jabs, the product is fine if you don't bleed out before the pill (and the fragments of the stabbed pill) goes down.
