The bed is solid and very polished looking. Looks like picture, and I'm happy with the finished result. However, the bed is poorly designed with holes that don't match, are very difficult to reach with adult hands and awkwardly positioned. You can only make 1/16th turns with the L wrench, not exaggerating. Overall over two days, this bed took about 5 hours to assembly. Because screws countless reviews about the assembly, I ordered Handy assembly through Target for $82.00. We waited for two hours and the Handy pro was a no-show. This bed would have been worth the asking price if assembly hadn't ribbed me of too many precious hours!

I've had this bed for over a year and I absolutely love it. Putting it together took some time but it wasn't difficult and I didn't experience any problems. The wood is beautiful and solid, and it's continued to be very sturdy. I love that the legs are tall enough that I can fit a couple under-bed boxes under it. I'm sure I'll have this for many years. Highly recommend.

Putting this bed together was my absolute worst nightmare. The holes don’t line up, the tools don’t fit the pieces well, and half of the pieces are crooked. $600 for this bed and it doesn’t go together without hours worth of issues. I would rather slather myself in honey and slap a bear in the face with a salmon than ever buy this bed again.

I’ve had his bed for a few weeks and LOVE it. Looks just like the picture. The only complaint is the smell. It has a musty smell that’s a bit bothersome but I’m sure that’ll get better with air time. It did take us about 4 hours to put together. But so worth it once it’s up! Very sturdy well designed bed.
