Not as good as it used to be

This was my absolute favorite blanket. I accidentally ruined the one I had for years and replaced it with the same exact one. However, the cover is not the same anymore. The fur is shorter and doesn’t hold up as well in the wash and it sheds like crazy. I never had this problem with my other one. Disappointed.
