I used to adore this shampoo and conditioner, it was my absolute favorite! It made my hair soft and manageable, the scent was perfect. This shampoo and conditioner was the only one I found that really helped detangle/de-frizz my hair. It was very plush and luxurious while applying. Then they changed the formula without warning. I was running low so I purchased two new pump bottles which was both a disappointing mistake and a waste of money (something that has been tight as of late).The scent is overpowering now; quite artificial. The shampoo makes my hair stringy and the conditioner leaves my hair CRISPY!! Somehow the conditioner manages to be greasy and thin while drying my hair out even more. So upset. I thought I had finally found my golden product.

This shampoo used to be fantastic. They must have recently changed it's formula because it smells terrible of perfume and as a person with annoying fragrance irritation I can not used the 2 values size i just bought without swelling up. Womp womp for me I guess but I thought I'd warn others.

I guess I will have to go find a new favorite shampoo, unfortunately, because I don’t like the new smell and it just doesn’t seem to work the same. I guess y’all never heard the phrase, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” As you can see, Loreal, I’m not the only customer who feels this way. What are y’all going to do about it? I hope you go back to the old formula soon.

Did you recently change the formula? The packaging changed slightly and now the smell is so bad. I tried three times to use it and I am so overcome with such a terrible smell, I can't use it anymore. The smell stays with my hair until I wash it again. I have religiously used this since it first came out. I tried different stores and they all smell the same. I'm truly disappointed.

Absolutely loved the old formula. Please bring back the “Repairing Shampoo” and “Repairing Conditioner”. The app image even still shows that formula is the one offered with this purchase but it is not what I received. You will get the “Damage Reversing Shampoo” and “Damage Reversing Conditioner”. The new formula smells different and makes my hair greasy after just one day… sad day..

I have used this product for several years. Up until now, I loved it! Went to the store to purchase more. and to my dismay, found that the base\cap had been changed. It no longer stands up in the shower caddy due to the cap being smaller, It is now top heavy! It also smells terrible! I loved the smell before, now it is a strong perfumy smell. Very disappointed!

I’ve used this happily for years and years. I just bought a new bottle of both shampoo and conditioner and the conditioner now smells so strong and terrible and very masculine. I hate it. I’m very disappointed and now will be looking for a new every day shampoo and conditioner.

It doesn’t say with protein on the front anymore, the smell is strong, and it made my hair feel super dry. Please go back to the old formula. The ingredient list is different or not in the same order anymore either after comparing my old and new bottle.

I have been using the Elvive Repair for years and always purchase the large bottle when available. I just opened a new one and am highly disappointed in the new scent! I have sensitivities to certain smells that trigger allergic reactions and this new stench is one of them. I'm now stuck with a big bottle that I cannot use. If you had noted "new formula" anywhere on the bottle I would have known to check before purchasing.
