Native Sea Salt & Cedar Solid Deodorant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I repeatedly inquired of my 11-year-old daughter why she had such a pleasant scent, and upon discovering that she had used my first bottle of deodorant, I promptly went out to buy a second one for myself. This deodorant has an exquisite fragrance. When I smell it closely, it reminds me of Chloe perfume; however, on my daughter, it resembles the scent of Philosophy’s Amazing Grace. I appreciate that it is free from both aluminum and parabens. It is definitely worth the cost. Conversely, I was initially persuaded to purchase the santal and vetiver, but it had an odor reminiscent of pickles.

I have been seeing and hearing all about this brand so it was nice to try out one of the deodorants for the first time. The packaging, although minimalistic, stands out and actually looks aesthetically pleasing. It's modern but sophisticated. The scent is super fresh and clean but on the stronger masculine side. Almost like a light cologne. You can definitely smell the sea salt and cedar. The scent does a great job at controlling smells and odor. Perfect for active or sport days. Not over powering but enough to last the whole day. What I liked the most was that it went on quite smooth and wasn't sticky. As like the other products, Native advertises simple, clean, thoughtful and natural ingredients - this one is no different. It's also aluminum-free. It's advertised as unisex, so both male and females can use it. That being said, my partner tried it and did not have as good of a review. They actually had some irritation - likely due to baking soda sensitivity. Otherwise, definitely a product that I would consider using. The biggest thing keeping me from going out of my way to purchase would be the price. But would recommend if you can afford it.

The packaging is simple, yet effective, allowing for you to easily apply and store away your deodorant. I’d say the scent strength lies right in the middle, as it isn’t overpowering and it isn’t too light to where you fear potentially not smelling fresh. My only concern is that it is not an antiperspirant and it doesn’t prevent your underarm sweat. However, for a deodorant, it does what it needs to do which is keep the odor at bay.

Strength of scent is not super overpowering but definitely has more of a traditional masculine aroma to it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is phenomenal. I have yet to find a product that actually smells like true sea salt. The minute you open it and see this apricot shaded deodorant it seems like it would leave a stain but as you can see in my video it dries perfectly clear on skin and wont stain nay of tour clothes. Normally I am not impressed by deodorant at all but this product has changed my mind and raised my standards to what deodorant should be. It would make you smell like you bought an expensive cologne and really you just got a good deodorant.
