A: I've been using this mascara for a while and it's so waterproof that it's almost hard to wash off! it's my favorite mascara and is worth more than its low price. 10/10 would recommend its AMAZING!!!

A: I just picked up an order today with this item and was concerned there was no safety seal. Individuals sometimes "test" products in-store - these should be sealed to ensure no contamination.

Not for me!
This mascara is not at all what I would normally wear. I know it's waterproof but it's almost impossible to get off. In addition, it doesn't lengthen my lashes like other products by Essence.

Wanna look like a Pro Boxer?
This mascara does a FANTASTIC job on separating lashes and the length is IMPRESSIVE! HOWEVER!!!!! Within a couple hours it's completely smudged under my eyes. Even if I do just the top lashes! I only wear eye concealer under my eyes, mascara and eyebrow tint for my entire face. And this ruins it, every. single. time. I've tried with concealer, different concealers, and even none at all. I don't rub my eyes or touch them at all. I've worn it a dozen times. And it smudges every time. $5 is a great deal. Especially if you're going for the "Fresh out of a fight" look. This is a hard pass.

Best waterproof I've found!
I recently tried 3 waterproof mascaras off of a "Best of" list looking for one that was actually waterproof, and essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara was my winner. The other 2 left me with racoon eyes in the moderate humidity of PA. This one seems to stay put...maybe some would say too well. Just use a little micellar water, though, and it comes right off. I'd rather have my mascara stay on when it's supposed to and take a little more effort to remove it when I'm ready. You also can't beat the price. If you're considering this, go for it. And if you find a better one at a similar pricepoint, let me know!
