DO NOT BUY -PERSISTENT CHEMICAL SMELL

DO NOT BUY. This rug had a strong chemical smell that filled my son’s room. I hoped it would fade with time as often newly unpackaged items do. I tried everything. I aired it out for a week outside. I hosed it down, let it dry, and left it in the basement for month. I vacuumed it. It STILL smells. I loved the pattern, but I can’t let my son breathe toxic fumes all night while he sleeps, or play on fabric obviously coated in some sort of chemical. So disappointed, as is my son who loved his new “triangle rug”. Yes, the price is too good to be true. A waste of money, as now I am past the return window and still don’t have a rug I can use. Extremely disappointed in Target for selling such a low quality product. Will never buy this brand again, and will hesitate to purchase a replacement from Target, as cannot trust quality of brands carried.

Love the rug... hate the smell

I love the rug BUT we’ve had to take it out to our unattached garage to try air it out. We tried to deal with the smell for 2 days but the chemical smell is heavy with this one. It’s been out in the garage for over a month… we just brought it back in today thinking it should be good. And now it’s back out; this time out on the fence to be out in the open air. Hopefully that will work.

Its fine.

The rug is nice. It’s for my 6 year old’s room and she says it’s soft and all my kids love to play on it. I noticed right after unrolling it, it was very rippled and wasn’t laying flat anywhere and had a strong chemical smell to it. After a day or 2 the smell has weakened and the rug now lays pretty flat. I would recommend buying it on sale.
