Perfect for kitchens or any rooms with high sun exposure, these screens provide UV protection, reduce glare, and prevent fading of furniture and carpets. The fabric allows light to pass through with 5% openness while maintaining 99% opacity. Our cordless roller shades offer convenient installation and usage. They can be mounted inside or outside the window frame, and this option includes a cassette for added functionality and style. To ensure proper fit and mobility within the window frame, our team will deduct a 1/4 inch from the width you order. For example, if you order a width of 34 inches, your blinds will arrive at a precise width of 33 3/4 inches. Ordering is simple: for an inside mount, select the exact width of your window frame. Q: Does the cassette snap in to the mounting brackets? I need to install brackets behind cassette, can't use the type with brackets that fasten at edges of shade.

For inside mount, there will be a slight gap on either side of the shade due to ensuring the proper function in retraction and extension. Good quality and construction. Does not block much light

Installed a month ago and very happy with ease of installation and quality of blind. Nice heavy material and weighted bar at the bottom. NO OFFGASSING. That was a concern for me. Negatives: this does not block as much light as I expected. In fact it lets in a lot. I thought 1% meant 1% transmission but this is much more. Couldn't tell until it was installed and we decided just to keep it. The blind also has a horizontal line across part of it. Its in the bedroom and no one will see it so I don't really care, but I mention it for others to be aware of. Overall though, very happy with the quality and value of this blind.

Purchased the charcoal color but wish they had a lite gray with the cassette. Was delivered earlier than expected, well packaged and NO missing parts. The quality was just as good as Bali or Levolor. Would purchase again. Good product and saved at least 75% purchasing Linen Avenue.

Easy to install, but not fully blackout

Installation was no more than 15 minutes in total. Does not filter out all light. A decent amount still gets through, even when the sun is not directly shining on the window (pictured above). It does block out most light to where you would need a flashlight to navigate the room if your eyes aren't adjusted, but still, I expect blackout to mean blackout.

Works with Texas heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summers in Austin, TX are awfully hot. We installed this solar shade to help reduce the amount of light and heat in our home during the hottest hours of the day. I only wish we had gotten a motorized version of this solar shade.

I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently installed this Linen Avenue Cordless Cassette 1% Solar roller shade. I absolutely love it. It really does block the sun from shining in. It's also said to help with blocking the sun damage from floors and furniture and I believe it. I would definitely recommend this brand and blind.

But the features on this are above and beyond and with these being white I was thinking how is it possible. But they do block out a lot of light. And not only that buy block uv rays which still isn't excuse to not wear sunscreen by the way bc this blocks only some. These shades though blocked out a lot of light especially now that it's hotter I been trying to find things that I can use to stop my house from heating up so fast. Overall beautiful design and I just think they outdid themselves either the feautures. It's also easy to roll up and down.

Easy Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with this so far. It blocks out a fair amount of light and keeps my room considerably cooler. The install was fairly easy and the scroll action is nice and smooth. I think I will be getting a couple more of these.

Quality Shades at Bargain Price!

Needed shades for our new house for both privacy and summer heat control. Nine years ago in my last house I bought Bali custom shades from Lowe's and paid for installation. Went back there to price them for new home and found even on sale they went from $200 per shade to $500+!! Figured I would take a chance on these. Just finished installing them and they far exceed my expectations! They are comparable to the high dollar Bali blinds in fabric, operation, and look. I like them better because these have a cleaner/less obtrusive valance/cassette! I am tickled pink at this purchase. they were easy to install (will need to drill holes) and hardware holds them firmly in place. Only two areas of concern: 1. They don't have any kind of plastic protective handle to grasp the shade to move it. concerned it could wear where constantly grasping it. 2. The color is a warm, soft white which works great with my house but if you wanted a crisp, bright white you would be disappointed.
